Thats a possibility, I guess having never seen the ticket books we dont know how big they are, I just assumed its roughly the size of a regular slice of paper
as a former server a normal ticket book has 300 tickets
Maybe more as you can see in the script:
Python:
    scene img_main24_650 with dissolve
"And when you return, you find Sarah pinning signs to the wall saying {b}'WINNER!!! 498!!'{/b}"
    scene img_main24_651 with dissolve
MC "You already chose a winner?"
    scene img_main24_652 with dissolve
Sarah "Yep. You were so late that I decided to do it without you."
    scene img_main24_653 with dissolve
    pause
    scene img_main24_654 with dissolve
"You're about to question how she dealt with the missing book, but she grabs your hand and begins pulling you towards the kitchen in a very unsubtle attempt to end the conversation."
    scene img_main24_655 with dissolve
    pause
    scene img_main24_656 with dissolve
MC "So you ended up not pulling a number from the missing book?"
    scene img_main24_657 with dissolve
Sarah "Nope, it's from that book."
    scene img_main24_658 with dissolve
"You stop walking, causing the petite girl to come to an abrupt halt as she tries to drag you unsuccessfully."
    scene img_main24_659 with dissolve
MC "Er... I know you haven't just decided to give the thief a favour, so care to explain why you just posted that number on the wall?"
    scene img_main24_660 with dissolve
Sarah "The number is from the end of the stolen book! We know because it's only two lower than the first number in one of the others."
Assuming that these books have the same number of tickets and not an oddly number we can assume that such a book has 500 tickets and Hannah had the first book. 500 tickets won't fit in something really small capable to be hidden between Rachels small breast, is she had stolen it she must have been hidden it somewhere in the restaurant.

maybe she simply has it in her jeans backpocket its not like HS has the option to simulation stuff in pockets and its not like MC searched her he had other stuff on his mind.

I guess the ticket book could be 500, but that seems a bit large. Here are the factors of 500, so these are some of the possibilities that would still make it work:

(1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 20), 25, 50, 100, 125, 250, 500

i would say 250

lets say the cafe has 15 tables ( i think in the training scene there is talk about table 11?) people spend around 1 our per meal at the cafe that would be 15 tickets per hour if MC keeps the shop open for 10h a day that's 150 tickets a day for 3 days thats around 450 tickets total, if we account for people only ordering coffee and deserts lets say they stay 30min i wouldn't go higher than 300 a day tho. you also want to have more tickets than too few so i would go with the 250 tickets per book.
The ticket books i worked with (admittedly very limited experience) were around palm size and as thick as a finger. They are easily concealable and fit in a pant pocket. It's not like you want your server running around with a big ledger.

I was so sure it was Rachel, but these recent talks have made me question things. The idea that she hid it somewhere in or around the cafe before snooping further could hold some water, but to me it suggests a level of subterfuge that I dont really associate with Rachel, she is usually headstrong and very bold with her accusations. The most sneaky thing we have seen her do is taking the picture of MC and Hannah, and also spying on MC and Lucy when they were in the club room.

I suppose a counter argument to that would be that Rachel knows just barging in and being a nuisance hasn't gotten her anywhere in the past, so maybe she knows she has to try a little cloak-and-dagger in order to get her way.

Another point, someone who has the foresight to think "I will hide this in case I get caught" would probably also have the sense to check if her phones flash was on, and would also take a video. You could say that she wasn't thinking straight because she was "behind enemy lines" while snooping so maybe the flash thing is a little understandable, but it still doesn't sit right with me.

It's possible she had it in a pocket, if the ticket books are as small as some have said. But lets say it was in a back pocket, I know HS2 doesn't really have the ability to render a bulge in the pocket that would indicate something is in it, but wouldn't the MC be looking at Rachel as she walked away? Even if we the reader couldnt see it surely the MC would notice something. and the missing pocket book would be on his mind in that moment too, so if he did notice something then he would probably say it. If it was in her side pocket then that would be a problem, much harder to see, and if MC did notice it in a side pocket then he would probably assume its her wallet.

I am so excited for this multi-update mystery to be revealed hopefully in the coming update

before i got to the end of this paragraph i thought so what even if she had it in her pocket he would have no reason not to think it was her wallet. Maybe that's projection because i have my wallet always in my back pocket.

On the other side the MC with all his qualities isn't Sherlock Holmes, even if it was Rachel, why should he make that connection there are at least 2 people that are more suspect right now. Also from the situation they were in he had other, bigger problems. His first reaction is to call the other girls to secure himself against false allegations, i would bet money that the tickets were nowhere on his mind at that moment.

if you hear the sound of hooves your first thought isn't that of zebras, but horses. Rachel was there to get dirt on him about his alleged abuse of the girls. I'm sure that this will be wrong and not at all her motivation when we get to it but that is what I in his shoes would think more so in the heat of the moment.

You know there could also be the possibility of someone else taking the ticket book who ate a bunch of food and acted like they were sick at their stomach and ran out of the cafe because they had it hidden on their person.
Someone who could be acting like a total ditz just to get them to think she's not capable of such subterfuge !
