I get that not everybody can like every game but some criticism seems strange. The bladder need is an integral part of the life simulation. After some expansions in Sims, you can eliminate that need, but it's still and integral part in that you need a special perk in order to no longer need to pee. Perhaps something similar will be implemented in CoT, but there are not even hints that Anthaum wants to do away with in.

In that context, complaining about a circumcision slider being added instead of Anthaum working on "obvious defects" like a need to pee is just strange. One thing is a content issue for which people have different priorities, another is a gameplay element that isn't slated to be changed at all.

For me personally, I don't mind not being able to set one gender to zero, but I can see how some players might find that annoying. Yet that too doesn't seem like something the dev has any intention to change. So there's nothing wrong with complaining about it, yet it likely won't do anything. Also, how annoying can that be? Is it really that bad if you can't sex like 5% of the population?

I don't care about the many hairstyles and clothes styles. And same as Nevart, I have to google some of them to even know what they are. But this is something that's super important for a subset of players that want to play pretty dress up with their characters. And I suspect it's relatively easy content to implement. So I'm just resigned to the fact that this will always be part of the game development, and stick to the clothes and hairstyles that I know.

As for the specific complaints about not being able to customize NPCs in certain ways, this is what Anthaum wrote in a recent dev diary:

" Another item that did well is expanded NPC customization. If you like customizing NPCs, you've probably noticed there are certain things you just can't change, like their pubic hair, tattoos, piercings, and so on. So I'll be working on adding all the options that don't currently exist for them. Technically this item is in third place, but it's pretty close to second and it's one of the smaller items on the list, so it's very likely I'll make sure it gets done this month. "

So things are moving in the direction you want, Nevart.

Can you have multiple secret seeds?
This is from the changelog: By popular demand, you can now combine special world seeds by using them within a longer seed — for example, you can use “velvetroperizzler” to combine both of these seeds, or use them both while generating different NPCs with a seed like “velvetroperizzler2” — though wacky combinations may produce wacky results

It's a time-waste in an already time shredding game for people that are not interested in it. Saying it's just part of the life simulation sounds rather... resigned. Like it couldn't or shouldn't be any different. You are able to block several other fetishes/kinks from coming up at all, so why not this as well? Because it is just that: A needlessly time-consuming task/fetish that keeps you, however briefly (though it adds up), from the things you actually want to do and enjoy. But I guess I should be thankful that we don't have to brush our teeth too, right?

As for there being no hints that Anthaum wants to do anything like that... Well, obviously, if no one speaks up about it...

The circumcision slider was specifically brought up in the context of it being chosen over several other more suitable/enjoyable customization options. There, fixed it for you.

As for them both being mentioned in the same post: You're right, they are both completely different elements of the game... which doesn't make it wrong or even strange to mention them both in a post that's mainly about criticism.

In earlier versions of the game it was a real problem, believe it or not. It sometimes took far too long to learn the actual genders of the NPCs you elected to court, resulting in some rather frustrating surprises. So I will admit there is probably some left-over frustration from that time.

As for right now: It's like an itch you can't scratch. It just doesn't feel right. In other games you better make your zero actually be a zero, or else. But not here, no. You will just have to accept that you will have to ignore 5% percent of the population because...? Not like that is actually possible, because you will inevitably interact with them at some point. It's not about sexing them, it's about just being able to play with who and what you want, and only that. Which should be normal. But if you really need a real reason for the clean zero, then you only need to look to the future. Merely as far as the major update that will allow NPCs to enter and leave relationships, for example. And suddenly those 5% are a great deal more annoying than they already are.

You are resigned about a lot of things, aren't you? Here is a question for you: Would you like some visual aid or not? It would be nice to have right? Forget for a moment about it not being essential to the game and just speak your mind. Maybe about some other things you would like to see too.

This I genuinely didn't know, so thank you.

Kind of mixing myself into the conversation, but i wouldn't mind separate sliders for the college and city. So the college would be something i could set a clean zero in (All Girls' School or whatever), but the city i could not because it's a settlement and you generally need people of both genders for a town not to die out in forty or so years. Teachers would likely be using the city side of the sliders in this case as i believe most of them are married and not part of the student body.

This is actually the part that made me jump into the conversation. Now, before i say this, the text is descriptive enough so it's not like i'm missing out on essential details, and i'm not clamoring for the entire game to get redone in RPG Maker, but it'd be nice to be able to see my character. Kind of like how DoL does it in the sidebar, could be added into NPC namecards as well for the NPCs themselves etc (though that might cause problems with the way they are generated) and the like. When moving around the city or college i'm already having my eyes fixed on the map so i'm generally in favor of a little more eye candy.

In an ideal world, I would like some visual aid, yes. But in our world, resources and dev time are not infinite, and so unless adding visual aid would massively expand the subscriber base for the game so that an artists and coder can be hired, visual aid would take programming time away from other stuff. And since visual aids are far down my list of priorities, that's not a trade I would make.

Besides, I'm not sure what kind of visual aid would be good for this game. Lilith's Throne is still my favorite game of these kinds. And some NPCs have pictures there. But they start out with a fixed design and gender, and you usually either can't transform them, or only in ways predetermined by the dev, so the art can match their transformation.

But we don't have fixed NPCs in CoT like there are in LT, so that would be much more difficult. And for example I don't care about the player sprite in Degrees of Lewdity, and honestly would prefer that game without the player sprite.

So in effect, I wouldn't be happy if Anthaum were to put dev time into visual aid, no.

It would be cool if there was a visual for the PC at least. So you can see the Outfit, body parts and maybe cum stains too.

Something similar what the Degree of Lewdity mods like Beees offer.

Does it matter if you don't attend classes but you keep up with the homework and studying? I noticed that it doesn't affect your grades.
You will miss the tests as well not going to classes..
Will be locked out from Harasser story line..
You will miss all the chances to raise skills..

I meant if you study and take all the exams, your grades will not suffer. I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and missed most of my classes.

Another bug I noticed. You set up a date with someone you meet at River Rat, you "text" him that you've arrived, you go on the romantic date, you kiss goodnight, then you realize that you don't have his phone number saved in your contacts! How did you text him if he never gave you his phone number? How do you go on a second date? Meanwhile you realize that you have 5 pages of "booty call" phone numbers with people you have never spoken to even, much less ever had a booty call with.

but it is customizable. you just need to edit the file. create a new archetype. create a new style and edit everything.
