I get that not everybody can like every game but some criticism seems strange. The bladder need is an integral part of the life simulation. After some expansions in Sims, you can eliminate that need, but it's still and integral part in that you need a special perk in order to no longer need to pee. Perhaps something similar will be implemented in CoT, but there are not even hints that Anthaum wants to do away with in.
In that context, complaining about a circumcision slider being added instead of Anthaum working on "obvious defects" like a need to pee is just strange. One thing is a content issue for which people have different priorities, another is a gameplay element that isn't slated to be changed at all.
For me personally, I don't mind not being able to set one gender to zero, but I can see how some players might find that annoying. Yet that too doesn't seem like something the dev has any intention to change. So there's nothing wrong with complaining about it, yet it likely won't do anything. Also, how annoying can that be? Is it really that bad if you can't sex like 5% of the population?
I don't care about the many hairstyles and clothes styles. And same as Nevart, I have to google some of them to even know what they are. But this is something that's super important for a subset of players that want to play pretty dress up with their characters. And I suspect it's relatively easy content to implement. So I'm just resigned to the fact that this will always be part of the game development, and stick to the clothes and hairstyles that I know.
As for the specific complaints about not being able to customize NPCs in certain ways, this is what Anthaum wrote in a recent dev diary:
" Another item that did well is expanded NPC customization. If you like customizing NPCs, you've probably noticed there are certain things you just can't change, like their pubic hair, tattoos, piercings, and so on. So I'll be working on adding all the options that don't currently exist for them. Technically this item is in third place, but it's pretty close to second and it's one of the smaller items on the list, so it's very likely I'll make sure it gets done this month. "
So things are moving in the direction you want, Nevart.
