well, we are still getting releases here. so, in a way, that IS what they're doing.
I, for one, am happy this keeps getting the occasional update/extra content. it was finished enough a couple years back when I first found it. still improving though.
just gotta see it from the right perspective: this is a completed game that keeps getting addons. Anon just hasn't hit the button yet.

Really? Last I remember there was gonna be more to the story and you're left at that underwater base. That also has several potential areas to check out in a next update. Looks like they have more planned than what is being called completed rn.

Then you have those doors once you reach that one part where it says devs didn't add it in yet. If anything that implies it's not finished yet. That isn't to say there wasn't a lot of stuff before, but I just seen "it's basically finished" a couple times here which didn't really seem to be the case

The point is there's enough content for a game already, dev could have written an ending and made a whole nother game at this point instead of remaking the same game three times

It's not completed even according to the devs, there's no ending, no resolution to the story, and there are areas that are meant to be accessible and have stuff in them, but they're not constructed yet. I don't know if it's 50% done, or 90% done, it's obviously not completed. Releasing it now and calling that 1.00 would be a shitty move, so respect to the devs for NOT doing that.

The update looks good, sure. The quality is very high. Was it necessary to remake that scene from the very start of the game? Probably not. It's already better than 99% of porn platformers, now it's gonna be even more ahead of them with better production value? I just don't get it, man. Wouldn't you rather make new stuff? If it was 50/50 remakes and new content, I would be hyped, but this... at least they're really working on it again.

Wait there was removed content? All I know of is the whole fiasco with game over scenes or whatever these were that were turned to "experiments"

As far as i know, the only removed content was a dog enemy in the catacombs which was replaced with the lurkers. And a reskin of the bugs to be less like real life insects. Both of these were due to patreon guidelines.

Well i'm thankful they did away with the lose to sex type gameplay, there are enough of those already, and i don't want to purpousefully lose to see them.

I liked the old scenes a lot more, but I hated getting interrupted by 30 second sex scenes in parts that are already difficult

Agreed. There's nothing worse than lose to sex. Sex should be part of the core gameplay loop in a game like this, not a fail screen

I mean, it's part of the game or avoidable if you want. I don't get how it's a weird direction in development. The dev and lead VA don't like non-con, they had it because they felt it was needed, and have since pulled it many many updates ago. And instead turned sex into part of the gameplay loop.

If you change the difficulty level to hard, you won't get healed.

This game should get "Abandoned" tag since it haven't updated for a year and I don't care about the progress reports if there's nothing concrete to show for on the patreon page. So many scam artists (Eromancer, Velminth, Dr. Bones, Witchbeast and so on for example) pulled the same tactics to milk people's money only to disappear after they get enough.

Well its not completely abandoned. But for me and a few people well its feels abandoned and clearly lose interest. Sorry to say it but this game dont have my attention anymore.
