It is not normal to judge in this way. I'm creating cinematics using ai for my new game and I've posted it here a few times. I don't think it's wrong. Maybe it's his fault if he doesn't agree to use ai as you say. and I have to say that I think animations made using ai are more useful and practical than animations made with daz3d. daz3d's animation tools are very limited and require a lot of effort.
Without getting in the "insults exchanging subthread" that I see has been opened inside this thread...
I am myself one of those who agrees that the theory of DAZ timeline interpolating to create animation is sound for its theoretical simplicity of use, but pretty much sucks in real use, except for use with dForce and dForce magnet (but even there, one discovers after that you cannot easily eliminate a keyframe or make the last keyframe become a subscene in itself), and it is true that tools like Blender, iClone and Cinema4D can be nice, but may require a learning investment (and license, if you want to be a good boy/girl), plus the complications and limitations of exporting/importing stuff.
However, this thread has a clear indication that no content made using machine learning/deep learning ("AI" if you prefer) should be posted here, and there are other threads for that.
The fact Castlestudio provides the "generative AI" his images as base for the animation is irrelevant from that point of view, because the videos are AI generated (as he admitted himself), even if after he used e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, to work on them.
If he posted only the images rendered with Daz, nobody could contest him anything, because those are Daz made, even if at the same time he mentioned he has put samples of AI-aided or generated animations in the "AI" thread.
CastleStudio is right that he should not be insulted (though honestly, I have not checked if he only reacted, or was the first to insult the other person and their work), but that is an unfortunate side effect of fora like F95, sometime people tend to get more easily "flaming insults" in these kind of online places than if they were face to face.
