It's a shame this wasn't done in DAZ3D. I've been wanting to do fan art of the cast for awhile now.

Meh, I find it's too overdone and too many novels use it. I doubt you'd be able to replicate the gore and overall dark mood from DeadMoon there. But Daz or Blender are for sure the most realistic software to create nudes (excluding photorealistic AI models trained specifically for it, but that's another topic).

Its a fucking cycle, people complain about X content, then complain about the game being abandoned for a unknown reason.

I haven't playd the game for now. I'm waiting for the mod to be updated but I'll definitely come back to this once I've played it.

There is a difference for me in what can be made optional. If it's smt that isn't relevent to the story it should be made avoidable. Let's say for exemple we got a revenge story with typical NTR settings. Mc is being bullied, he is weak, and got no backbone in him. Let's say his mom gets f1cked by one of his bullies, or even harsher, she's raped.
This is the all happening in the prologue, as the considerate person I'm I'll make the scenes involving NTR/rape skippable. But they'll happen nonetheless bc this is an important part of the story and is what will drive MC to become stronger, more cunning an push him to plot his revenge by maybe doing his bullies family members (either using blackmail/seducing them).
Now let's say he began making his harem and there is a possible lesbian scene. I'll make this one avoidable bc she isn't relevent to the story. Yes it may be more work but atleast I wouldn't force my preferences on the player.

Honestly, I don't mind the mom x sis scene but I always try and put myself in the shoes of the one who doesn't like this type of sh1t. Be it anything.

I get you point, but i think the decision of adding this type of scene to the game makes a lot of sense here, sis is basically doing the same as the MC is doing, if the game continues, there will be a point in wich the three of them will engage in something together, and it will feel more 'natural' in a certain way, because of the lesbians scenes. Most of the games you have this type of 'corruption' is just the male MC pushing people around and forcing the encounters, it will (or would) feel more natural here i think.

But...Its a porn game, i dont go that deep into storytelling or see myself as the MC, i just wanna see some hot shit and thats it.

Did you see at least once that someone attacked a dude who just sincerely wrote that he liked the game/update? Of course not. But if someone tries to voice his critique or displeasure with the game or dev decisions, then hell will break loose, and shit with hate and insults will pour like a river. I myself dropped this edgy soyboy circus full of braindead anime logic a long time ago. But when I saw the commotion in the thread, I checked the last update on fast skip, and oh boy, it was cringe and pathetic. 10 minutes of lame fights with oversaturated bloodshed and childish psycho mode are all over the place, and after that, just like that, an unskippable/unpreventable lesbian scene while the MC, lonely, cooks his own brains in psycho juice, kek. I remember this game in the first place gave players choices to tailor the story as they want (as any normal choice-based game should), but then just like that, no content with the MC in the whole update and lesbian content now is kanon.

I saw that game disappointed even NTR lovers; well then, it's an obvious full fiasco of the developer's bad choices if neither vanilla nor NTR squads are left happy. I'm not sure that I would have liked or been impressed by this story even when I was 15.

It's a shame that the dev is ruining his game, the story was good, but there are options that make the main character look like a rag. And in games where one inserts oneself, so to speak, one doesn't like to be treated like garbage, some may like the cuckold game, but they are the minority. Anyway. Thank goodness it took so long to add so little, to ruin his game too; because that way I can forget about the game, so much time for nothing, I guess it helped to lose my affection for it. It's a shame, it started well, but now it's not what I was enthusiastic about at first, and you can say that later things will change, but I don't think I'll tolerate going through updates where the main character, or one if one inserts oneself into the story, has to endure humiliation and nerfs in favor of a possible distant future of redemption... besides that it's already very trite.

There needs to be a disclaimer that this is the unofficial 0.9 update to properly set expectations.

Co writer was making a salad out of nothing to please the fanbase. And y’all are complaining like crazy.

Co Dev had this working against him:

Making his own game with chunky monthly updates.

Did not get the story beats from Tomato and had to improvise which includes the branching for OPTIONAL LESBIAN and NTR FLASHBACKS

Atleast 3 of tomatoe pseudo animations missing.

100-300 still renders missing, a lot of those transition renders to move story and dialogue along.

An entire intimate scene with mom and MC with those animations and renders.

Dev ghosted, only Tomato can correct that since he holds all the cards.

With Honey Select 2 Studio you don't need rendering, it's not DAZ3D. In the Studio you just arrange the characters, place the stage, put the lighting if necessary and take the capture and that's it, nothing else is needed, you don't have to wait any rendering time as you do with other 3D design engines.

damn, we may never get a continuation after playing this last “mini release”. It's heartbreaking, and your text at the end was very poignant Ruykiru. great last fight scenes, great M/D scenes. We have a lot a revelation and it's surely the end. As VN fans, we're all more or less used to never-finished games, but in some cases it's hard to take.

Great game, loved the renders, well written and emotional, a plethora of bodily fluids and hot taboo scenes all in a zombie apocalypse. Hentai and dystopian futures, my favourite combinations. I'm very sad the developer has disappeared, hope he´s OK and has just taken a hiatus on this project, always looked forward to the updates. Thanks to the co-developer for filling us in and releasing this half-update, it's definitely better than just an abandoned tag without explanation. Loving your other project! Hope to see more of DMS in the future.

Thank you so much for the update, Its sad to hear that the OG dev isnt here. Ill save this game and hope he will return one day. If you should cont the game? Honestly its up to yourself buddy. I would say, only do it if you feel for it. Would i love to see it done, sure. But its about you wanna do it. Lets hope Hot Tomato is ok and well.
