Doing Things My Way Version 1.3 is out with all sorts of new content to enjoy including:

-Three New Conquerable Heroines (and one that hadn't had Erotic scenes before and now she does)

-New locations with heroines you can conquer later

-Storage Overhaul (Meaning the game size has been reduced drastically)

-Expansion on the character Laila(as well as new scenes)

-New Story Content

-The Day & Night Cycle now includes the players bedroom and living room which was missing in previous versions

-Bug fixes and typo corrections

This game has the same problem as many other MC games - too many girls. IMO it's better to go vertical or quality over quantity, if you will. After two dozen or so girls I just stop caring.

At what point does the scene with the girl wearing a hat at the park at night take place? next verion?

So far I've only developed her first interaction with the MC. However, I plan to expand on it in later versions.

Edit: As for when it takes place, it should happen right after you start act 2. You just have to go to the park at night and she'll be there.

I can't really do much about that. Several characters are required to make the story flow properly. However, besides the character known as Hana, most of those girls aren't required to meet with and enthrall so if you just wanna focus on the girls in the school and pretty much no one else that's fine since they're the primary focus. Besides them, pretty much every other person besides two characters outside the school are just a bonus.

Plus, I'm still new to game development so while it's still in its early stages, I promise to try and improve the game and make it more engaging. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

1.3 is giga-broken if you start from the beginning, you will softlock in act1 part1, in normal mode because apartment never becomes equal to 9 which is required for one scene and absolutely nothing happens after the principal scene no new scenes and there is no need to go back to the school while the only way to gain power is locked behind the apartment==9 variable

To quickly explain, after the principal scene, you have to go around and f#ck the girl at the apartment, at the beach, and at the park. After that, the game will progress like normal. I've been wanting to fix it but for now, I'd recommend just skipping through those scenes if you don't want to see them and then you can enter the school.

unfortunately that doesnt work all 3 unlocked scenes with the apartment girl dont advance it the locked one is the one that does, i guess, shes the only one you cant have sex with because to have sex with her you need the apartment variable to be 9 while it is capped at 8

Experiencing the same issue, there is no button to fork the apartment girl, and i remain unable to progress the game due to this.

Weird. I'll look into that and hopefully have something worked out in a bit so I'd recommend redownloading the game on the game page in about an hour after this post. If I'm correct about where the issue is, it should be fixed. If not, let me know.

I'm currently working on a feature to guide players on if they missed any events. It should be available when Version 1.5 releases. Though that's still a bit away since Version 1.4 is about to release. But still, it's on its way!

I recently replaced it with an updated version of the game with a new link because game bugs were occurring with some players who started a new game. So if you wanna download the latest version of the game, I'd recommend downloading it from the Itch.io page.

Have you checked the park as well? If so, you have to head back home and into the living room where the next story event should activate if you've triggered the other scenes.
