i've gone there but neomi isn't there to replay her scenes and especially the ones when you first meet her.

Noemi should appear in the gallery once you met her again after giving her the key. Once inside the gallery, you have a choice of either playing the scene or fighting.
i have completed her quests and have defeated her in the castle many time but i can't find her in the gallery portal.

so this game was already abandoned? what a shame i was rly look forward to this... but from what i saw the last update was almost a year ago.

i rly hope this is the case, cuz similar things happened to very good projects that were abandoned. >.<
theres a discord and the man is indeed show signs of not leaving this to rot just irl is taking over atm

FYI, The game is not abandoned. I know that 1 year between a major update seems like a death sentence, but in case of v5 there's a lot of content that justifies the time between release dates. To put the amount of stuff that's coming up in perspective, v4.53 has about 3,4k images, v5 bumps that up to almost 5.3k. These images are split among 2 enemies with +20 scenes each, 20 new scenes split across 3 side characters, a whole graphical redesign for Liliett that vastly improves her content, 2 new female npcs with lesser amount of content, 8 new quests, too much writing, a bunch of new maps, 4 news skills for each weapon type, redesign of weapon system, 2 major game mechanics and stuff that I do not have on the top of my head at the moment.
I do this project by myself, with eventual consultation if my own coding skills are not enough, with no outsourcing, while working full time and having actual social life. Making a game is creative work, and the proportion of the work you actually get done to the time/effort you put into it not a constant value. I wish that I had the time to dish out updates every few months or give out a feasible time frame when an update will be released and actually stick to it, but the sad reality is that I'm simply unable to.
I know that this site has seen many projects, many good projects that get left behind while it's creators go missing or try to reanimate the hype with lackluster and seldom updates, so talking about any kind of trust in creators is like a bad joke. What I ask you is to be patient, v5 will come.

Install both v4.51 and v4.52. They fix a significant amount of bugs. You can find a full version with an additional QoL patch (v4.53) in it on the game's discord server.
I can't find the gas mask anywhere. It's in clearspring forest? Which cave?

Not in the current version, though I believe there were teasers posted for Mnemosyne content next update
i guess neomi not appearing might be bug you may wanna fix in the next update if you have the chance
