There is still some noise in ep5 but its not that noticeable. As I said I will update the patch for ep4 and for its extras too. I've written a script so I can denoise images in batches, its not really a problem so if there is popular demand I could work on ep5 too but for now I don't think its necessary.

Not really but I don't blame you if you haven't been keeping up with the flop that is Lewdlab's latest game, Midnight Paradise
Basically that game flopped and he hasn't updated it in almost a year and had to come back to his first and only decent game to pinch a few more pennies by polishing it up and re-releasing it
An update is supposed to come for the other game after DoD, but I won't hold my breath

I wouldn't call it flop. Models in midnight paradise are way better than plastic models of dod. Only thing most people dislike about mp is sandbox, imho the story in mp is also better than that of mind controlling crap.

So he added 3 new scenes and upgraded the old animations with more frames and added 3 different points of view then counted them as 3 separate animations...
The animations are pretty basic i might add, nowhere near the quality of the animations from Midnight Paradise.

Everything else is basically the same.

Where are the animations from the trailer then, like the passing of a gun or some of the animated characters? I don't see any in the video files?

Well that was a huge disappointment. A small amount of new scenes and some pretty lackluster animations. It seems like he spent more time on the trailer than on the game itself. All the scenes felt rushed, no attention to detail and for a definitive edition, he didn't even redo the old noisy renders...


I considered supporting Lewdlab on Patreon in the past, good thing I never did and I never will. If he'd at least mentioned in the trailer that its not actual ingame footage, but shouldn't have expected anything else from someone who is milking his patreons so hard.

If you notice screen tearing during animations try enabling it. Of course it will only work if your hardware supports it.

I don't care about MP, a lot of people doesn't care as well, and even if "everyone actually wants to play" the other game, MP still has less likes than DoD according to Latest Update. So this "waste of time" is actually more liked than "the game everyone actually wants to play".

Yup, Darksiders cracked steam version was out pretty much instantly too. If something exists on the internet someone else will copy it and make it available elsewhere, no point worrying about it or trying to do anything about it as whatever you do isn't going to change anything

Furthermore, the devs that embrace it and use it as marketing seem to do better for themselves via sstar and patreon

Tried to download Dreams of Desire Definitive Edition Elite but it was going really slowly (12 hours - 1 day). Then it says network error and stops downloading. Is this just me or is this slow for others?

This Goat game got an update? I'm down to play this again after such a long time. It's been years since i last played through. Though, I do wonder if my feelings for it have changed since then. At that time it was one of the most highest quality VNs of it's style, atleast that i knew of(or remember) and it had a great story. There were plenty other games back then, of course, but i can't recall their names at the moment.
