RPGM - Completed - Dungeon with Girl [2024-09-13] [tadatada stupid]

I want to rate this game 4* because the performance of the game engine is dogshit but oooooh my god everything else is just so good I just can't make myself rate it lower than 5.
I hope somebody wake up one day and decide to brainwash every single japanese dev that Unity or something else is now the new RPGm for them and now they must make games on a different engine please just stop making games on RPGm please

-First of all, you are either so good at this game or so bad at this. In order to pay the debt, you have to do the quests, some of which require you to get down to floor 25+. I can't imagine the amount of grinding for you to beat the game at floor 8. He said it like the time limit in this game is really harsh which is not true. You have 6 energy point to do the crawling but not all situation requires energy points. By alternating your choices, you can basically crawl forever (energy points regenerate over time). Not kidding, if you manage to avoid every combat, you can beat the entire dungeon on day 1. The time limit is basically non-existent.

-Uhh, there are quests for you to do in order to pay off your debt. Sometime they will have you to slay the bosses, each boss has 1 bad end. 2 bad ends for 2 fat fucks at guild and inn. An ending that requires 4 orbs which is hinted throughout the game (the door, which you will eventually open by rgn, the monument which the girl will always remind you how to trigger everytime you visit, etc..). Seems pretty straight forward to get to me. And you even get the bad ends unlocked in the gallery after you defeat each bosses so i don't get why he did "need to use trial and error with save scumming"

-This is just your preference, author wants this game to be pure love focused. So it makes sense for good ends easier to get than ntr ends.

-I'm pretty sure the fat fuck at the guild is a given. And with the fat fuck at the inn, the girl will always comment something about her being so tired and then fat fuck smirks about it. If you can't figure out what is it then you are so dense and deserved to be cuck.

Decent game, with dice roll mechanics. You have both animated and still image h-scenes. The NTR is optional and you are given plenty of ways to avoid it. It is slightly bugged and my ending didn't work as the game didn't register the quest items at first but all in all a good game with branching endings. Its fun and the art is good.

Some people seem to be suffering from performance issues, but I am not one of those people, so this review is under the assumption that it runs smoothly for the reader as well.

The game runs a nice line between wholesome, fluffy romance and ugly bastard NTR, and straddles that line quite well as opposed to other games that lean too hard in either direction. Here, NTR is a fail state, a punishment for you when you're unable to complete your goals. It's quite easy to see the scenes, but also not hard to avoid them if NTR isn't your thing. Personally, I enjoy the mechanic since it adds an extra layer of tension when it comes to exploring.

The art is quite good, and there's enough variety between the h-scenes to keep things fresh. The night time sex can be quite fun, though I admit it does get a bit repetitive on subsequent playthroughs.

The gameplay loop it self is entertaining enough to not be considered a detriment, and there's enough RNG to keep things exciting but not so much of it to be frustrating. A potential downside is the fact that you're unlikely to achieve the true end on your first playthrough, though it's possible if you're good/lucky, though I personally enjoy NG+ too.

Honestly it's hilarious to me that the ugly bastard just keeps on reappearing with different costumes while genuinely being different people. The game plays pretty smoothly too and the sex scenes are really well made

The h-scenes might be a 5/5 because they are very well made 2D-CGs with animated transition, the turn based combat in the dungeon might be a 5/5, the random events that occur might be really fun, HOWEVER, this game is a solid 1/5 due to horrible game design.

Let me explain.
So, you have this debt that keeps accumulating, you are fighting tooth and nail to desperately farm up all the money, 3 payments with 5 days between each payment, you earn the trust of your girl companion and eventually you get to have wholesome erotic H-scenes with her in various places, you can farm her lust to increase her combat stats which is something new,

Ohhhh, and , how could I forget, the PERFORMANCE is SO TERRIBLE, I get a 35% CPU usage and I get 5 FRAMES PER SECOND? Manually clicking the movement or the select buttons doesn't work from the first, second, thrird try and MAYBE works on the 4-th? During H-scenes sometimes the body of your companion DOESN'T LOAD so you are staring at a blank image??? WHO THE FUCK TESTED THIS???

The translations are 98% present, and they are perfect, there are heavy punishments (H-scenes) for missing the payments, the other NPCs can be really evil bastards, and I couldn't even figure out how to prevent them from abusing the girl companion. (Since this is an H-game that is a plus)

I am so mad at the game design, I just can't think of anything else. Skip this garbage please.

That game, it's not exactly perfect, but somehow it's still so close to being just right.

The Good:

• The artwork is fantastic. It's a rarity to find games these days with such stunning visuals.
• The female character is intriguing (at least in comparison with other RPGM games). Yeah, I know it sounds odd for a Japanese game, but she actually tries to hook you with her personality, dialogues, and actions, rather than relying on big boobs and ass.
• The sex scenes are pretty steamy. For once, the creators didn't hold back and drew some really solid artwork. Sure, it would be great if there were more scenes, but that's only because they're done so well. The game has around 30 scenes, and half of them fall into the NTR genre.

The Not-So-Good: Okay, there are only two things that bother me:

1. (Minor gripe) The gameplay: You can tell the creators wanted to keep things interesting with different actions, but I'm not sure they hit the mark. There's a lot of randomness, the dungeons get repetitive and drag on, and those nighttime sex scenes with the girl can become a bit tedious. It eats up a good chunk of your time and starts to wear thin after about 10-20 minutes.
2. The optimization is terrible. It's probably an issue with the game engine, but that doesn't change the fact that most parts of the game suffer from serious lag, and that's just plain annoying. If it were any other game, I'd give it 2 stars just for this. However, the content of this game is really good, and there's enough of it to prevent me from knocking down the overall score too much.

In conclusion: Sadly, the game does have its downsides (mainly technical), but I still highly recommend it to NTR genre fans, even if you're skeptical about RPG Maker engines. My suggestion is to play it for about 15-20 minutes to get into the story, and then go ahead and download a full save file to explore the gallery. That way, you'll get the best experience out of this game.

Easily goes into one of the top 10 list of Japanese eroge works.

Although the plot is a little bit forced for the fem MC in the beginning, the gameplay aspects and the H-scene rivals the big names of other Japanese circles out there.

Gameplay is basically a dice roll boardgame and all equipments are well-balanced so no worries about beating the enemies too easily.

Not a bad game! Cute character design and thank god for a rather flesh out MC and female sidekick "activity" session that has more options rather than just a couple few animations. The story branches out to some ugly bastards intending to steal your gf/sidekick (i didnt play the story) or some monsters as well. There isn't much of the voice acting for the female character but the artstyle is beautiful enough for you to pump one out.

TL;DR Not a bad game!
