You could use this to replace script.rpy, or delete the lines mentioned yourself. Unless the team themselves want to do something with those lines. Works in the meantime though

Nope that's what happens when you meant to comment them out but were also busy studying other programming languages and then say oh well i will just delete those later but then forget to.

Nothing has happened since January 2021 so this mod is most likely dead and buried unfortunately.

The games changelog said the version before 0.20 was 0.14, so it is the game that has had nothing happen. Maybe one of the wonderful modders will continue this mod, or a new hero will rise up from the masses.
