I'm not sure what 'newly appearing young ladies' means exactly, but we're already not far away from 100 women in the game. I have 81 listed, which is by no means exhaustive since it doesn't count anyone in the flashbacks (except Hiroko,) as well as Matsu's niece (/daughter? Roll Tide!) and Yuki's friend. I've probably missed a few people on top of that.
Oh wow, I'd forgotten this. What I found hilarious at the time was that his goal wasn't the end of 2021, it was the end of 2021 "at the latest." His thought process in mid-2019 was really that they could possibly make the "longest visual novel of all time" in about two years, despite only 7 of 365 days done and the need to regularly do merges (Even if supposedly quicker) in the future. That's only about 15 days of in-game content per real life month, except actually more because merges needed to be fit in too.
I really loved Japan and would go back again if I get the chance.

One of the best games in RenPy. I was lucky enough to play it after your last update. I confess that I've played it 3 times... I'm really sorry to see the project stopped. I have imaginary routes to the main characters that may never come to fruition. How sad.
Its either one or two. 1: Latecomer truly has no clue what the fuck he is doing and is just stringing bluecat and everyone else along by talking bullshit. 2: Still doesn't know what he is doing but is able to squeeze out some easy cash from the morons still giving money by saying "I'm working on it".
