Because the layout of this game is complete crap and sandbox it is not. You can even softlock yourself if you accidentally buy anything you're not supposed to or do anything out of order.

after amy come for infirmary, what after that? I have skipped time but no icon/star appears, I have been new to the game up to 3 times and still stuck there
I gave up on this game when after doing the first walkthrough portion as layed out and I couldn't find Emily in her room in the hotel in the morning to do the second walkthrough portion. This game is so badly done he should have just made it a kinetic novel instead of a sandbox. Maybe he finally abandoned the game cause he realized it was hopeless and he's starting escort agency 3.
