QSP Evil 2 [v0.74] [community project]

I downloaded the full torrent. Anyway I figured out later that for some reason I had to run "Go.bat" from the main folder, for some reason doing that doesn't crash the game after character creation.

The Go.bat file is only available with the torrent. It isn't necessary but is quicker to start the game. The instructions to launch the game are listed in the 'Installation' and 'Developer Notes/FAQ' sections on the OP:

To start the game, open up 'qspgui.exe' in the Evil 2 game folder - Quest - Open Game - 'Evil2-spectre1viper.qsp' (located in the 'Evil' folder).

This is the manual method and works equally well. I've used it hundreds of times and never had an issue with the game breaking after character creation. The Go.bat file doesn't fix any bugs. You weren't launching the game correctly and the Go.bat file simply launches the game correctly.

The only reason I'm posting this is that I don't want false information to get out with players thinking they need the Go.bat file to start the game without bugs. The Go.bat file simply automates the manual method described above.

I've trawled this forum to work out the requirements for the Stranded Motorist event. I've had all 4 other events, I've got well over 100k caps. Got the cool car, got every gun, have done dozens of taxis, made over 2 dozen slaves, mansion upgraded, farm upgraded, full rep with the police and drug lord... It still isn't firing. Unless I'm missing something big, I don't know whats up. Does anyone have an event firing code or something?

How to trigger the unique events and stories

Many players miss the part about doing lots of taxi cab rides and kidnapping girls as a taxi driver.

You can force the event to trigger by using the option in the Computer menu - Start or replay the events and stories in Evil 2

Or you can post your save game and I'll tell you what requirement you're missing.

Based on your post Dolly Little should not appear until the pool girl story was finished and I have yet to reach part 3.

Fixed, thank you! I don't know when I'll release a new QSP as this is a very minor bug. It's an independent event so it doesn't really matter when it takes place but I did say that all the other events and stories had to be completed first which obviously isn't the case currently. Not a big deal as it doesn't cause any issues with the game. I did fix it in case I release an updated QSP at some point. I just left out a few conditions to trigger the event. I also updated the conditions to trigger the 'Social Experiment' events as they were triggering early also.

Please I need help to play this game.

Problem: Images and videos do not load. Like I can't access the /pic folder.
Attempts: Copy the game to disk C, because I have it on disk D and it does the same thing.
I tried to run it as Administrator, and it keeps doing the same thing.
I found out that if I use QSP 5.9.3 64 bit version the images load, but obviously the game crashes.
Does the same thing happen to any of you? I want to believe it's because I have Windows 11. (that's why with the new version the images load).

I hope that someone can give me a solution.... I tried everything and I want to play this game.

Double check to make sure you installed the game correctly. Read the 'Installation' instructions on the OP. At the bottom of those instructions it also explains the proper way to start the game.

All four downloads are required unless you used the torrent.

There should only be one QSP file in the '/Evil 2/Evil/' folder and no where else - 'Evil2-spectre1viper.qsp'.
There should only be one 'pic' folder located in '/Evil 2/Evil/' and no where else.
The 'qspgui.exe' file should be located in the 'Evil 2' folder if you installed the game correctly.

It's pointless to use another QSP Player as only the one that is bundled with the game will work. This is explained in both the 'Overview - spoiler' section and 'Requirements' on the OP.

In the 'Developer Notes/FAQ' section there's an experimental download that may help the game work with Windows 11. The QSP Player does require some libraries and Visual C++ runtime executables to be installed before it will work. Sadly, I'm unsure which ones are required. Most people have them installed already from playing older PC games on their PC. Backup all your important files before installing anything in the experimental download. Some of them probably won't even install on Windows 11. I don't have a Windows 11 PC to test with. There's always a small risk of one of these files breaking the OS as I haven't tested any of them on Windows 11. So backup your important files first.

This cheat can be toggled on and off in the 'Bathroom' menu options. The cheat does nothing until you complete the 'Family Trouble' story Parts 1 & 2 and the 'Photo Drama' event.

Just to clarify, do you mean you need to be doing taxi drives in general to trigger the event? Or does the action of catching girls in the taxi trigger it? because I have heaps of girls at the farm that I've captured through the taxi and about 16+ slaves. If the event triggers only when you capture girls then that would explain it, but if its meant to trigger when just driving the taxi around, I dunno what I'm missing then.

I'll attach the save, anyway. Thanks for the tip about the computer though.

The burglar, the college girl, the farm hazing and the solicitor (cookie girl?). So now I'm even more confused as I'm not getting any other stories come up.

It doesn't look like you completed the mansion burglar event. The event triggers 3 times. It only shows that you did it 2 times. Are you not using the latest version 0.74? I used your save game and repeated the steps twice successfully.

I don't know what to say man, definitely using the current version.


I'll try it again on that older save.


EDIT: Someone is messing with me... I literally did the exact same thing I did the other day lol and it worked now. So confused.
