As of reviewing, the version is v0.7.
The meat of the game is the combat rape. There are almost no meaningful decisions to make during combat. You have no health. You have one resource you spend to deal damage. You unlock a couple variants of "spend resource to deal damage", but the only differences between these moves are the amount of resource spent and the amount of damage dealt. This results in you just spamming your most mathematically effective means of doing damage.
It doesn't have to be this way. There are four different resource bars for the enemy: health, aggression, pleasure, and erection status. Attacks could be specialized based on which resources they targeted. Additionally there are three resources for the player: mana, willpower, and pleasure. Attacks could be differentiated by the type of resource they spend. So, I do have hope that the combat could be good, but as of now it's just a narrative device.
The corruption starts out slow, but snowballs quickly once it gets going. This is because of how corruption happens. Corruption is furthered by successful erotic attacks from the enemy. As you get more corrupted, you will be subject to more successful erotic attacks.
As a narrative device, the combat functions best when randomness causes unexpected things to happen. Sometimes an erotic attack will critical your pleasure meter and make you orgasm. Sometimes a high chance of escape from penetration will fail. The status effects are also nice for adding a bit of weak vs strong periods of the fight, but aren't as noticeable as they should be.
Minor nitpicks:
- The map is zoomed out super far for no good reason. It makes things hard to see.
- The audio balancing is awful. The moans are way louder than the other sound effects.
- Some text isn't in English. If you surrender in a fight for example.
- The file size is huge.
- The cut-ins can take so long to load that it skips them. (Probably because of the file size issue.)
- One time the fight menu got locked to invisible and I had to reload the game.
