- don't run it with admin privileges

I chose the v11 version because I never had issues like yours.

Probably not, well it won't' for any new content if there is any the patch needs to cover, you can open with Notepad ++ or Notepad and see the dialogue changes.
It will get updated, it's been updated for every version.
There is a cheat mod for every Ren'Py game, well 99.9%.

Message to the dev about filf 2. Do not make the same mistake as a lot of devs out here, which is polls deciding every aspect of the game. Stick to your plan and let the supporters decide on variants of that plan. That's what ruined daily lives on my countryside. People wanted a bazillion side characters + pointless grinding mechanics, which is simply a terrible move.
