It's a pity, I really liked the beginning of the game, but it's unpleasant to continue playing with such lags.

Try downloading the compressed version of the game, the animation worked better for me there.

Yeah, the changelog doesn't say anything specific, and there's litterally nothing new in neither the in-game quest log nor the replay gallery. If this release is just the Keren rework then it's fine but the changelog implies there's more than that.
