Thank you for reporting it! I just tested it, and you're right! It's a weird behavior. I couldn't manage to make it work properly yet, but I've made a workaround that prevents the BGS from being played if the volume is set to 0%, otherwise, it plays at 100%, but I guess it does the trick for those who want to play with BGS disabled. It will be implemented in my upcoming update, and I'll try to make it work properly. Meanwhile, you can just apply the patch yourself. Just extract this file at the root folder of the game and replace the file rpg_objects.js when you're prompted.

Thanks! No worries, this bug seems to be common in RPGM games for some reason. I didn't really think to report it tbh as I've encountered it quite a bit in different games.

There's a bit of that in certain encounters/scenes in Nothing is Forever. Some of that is also in Slave U and Second Class.

I checked Disparity, yet another new game tagged femdom. This one has 2 h scenes in the initial release, one is a femdom scene between NPCs (MC just looks at them and can give an idea for a woman how to humiliate the guy further), the other is MC having his dick sucked. So if you're looking for a game to play as a sub it's not this one. I'm gonna check 1-2 updates tho to see if there'll be a sub route later on, but for now there isn't one.

From my experience people would rather play with a single hand and QTEs are their nemesis.

And it's not even the matter of The Implication of one-handed gameplay. Often I lie sideways when playing or chat on the phone at the same time. Having to reach for the mouse is just plain annoying.

I have a question, mostly for those people who enjoy playing through Ren'py femdom visual novels. Do you guys think sound effects (not music) are a good addition or are they are too distracting and startle you? I've personally always mute them and only leave music on.

Yes!

I really like sound effects, such as wet/squelching during sex/HJ/BJ, chains, latex rubbing, high heels coming closer; I find it really helps with the ambience.

I love good ambience sounds especially in more serious stories. But any sounds and especially splashes during erotic scenes are just pure cringe for me 9/10 times. I enjoy a nice loop of moans though!
And! They have to be on the separate volume slider. A lot of times devs don't know how to assing sounds and it's all under Music...

The tagging system on this site has needed revamping for years now, but we've seen nothing. The site's devs/admins seem content with the status quo. I personally agree with the opinions that tags need to be far more targeted and specific. I've even seen the idea thrown around in the past about having a section for 'major' and 'minor' tags, with a tag being put in 'major' if it's a key aspect of the game, and a tag being put in 'minor' if there's just one or two scenes dedicated to it.

But... After my last interaction - I wouldn't hope for any improvement in the near future...

Well, no. I'm just too busy to be in touch with the games tbh and knowing the title is not enough to add the game to the Finder, I'd need kinks, type of a game, etc. I just finished my book, and till the end of August I'll be too busy for anything really. However if someone would prepare a list of new games with descriptions I could add them to the list during weekends.
