He seems a bit snaky because he is not being clear or confirming whether FRoA is abandoned or not. Even if he had no choice but to abandon the game because he can't access his daz models, people will feel like he cannot be trusted because he took money from his subscribers and did not even finish the game. He could have followed up with a message saying the project is abandoned. Who's to say he won't do the same with the new project?
I also don't get why he cannot try to recreate the 3d models to resemble the game's model as close as possible. Maybe it is a lot of work to redo it from scratch. People would feel more respect if he was clear about it. Shit happens... but he chooses not to say anything.
