what i usually do is copy the save files i have from the previous version and then i copy and paste it to the updated one after i already have opened the new version at least once so the save file appears

On another note, when you use ending choice on the main screen (the middle ying/yang symbol, not the ones on the side), you can't get past the stage where you talk to Katara. You have to engrave the ring, but you have no money and there's no way to earn it.

It's a bug. I guess it's an old save that isn't working anymore. Sadly happens quite often with Renpy.
That one is serious. The default entry points should always work. I'll take a look.

Shad0wB If you use the default ending, Korra and Jinora wedding is canon. You can watch it in the mansion after you did some progress in the epilogue.

You don't have to engrave the ring to progress. Just do every sex scene once and you can talk to Katara. (You also could fuck the elder council and get your 25 bucks this way.)
I tested with the bughunt version though.

Fun little mini-game update and Ikki was cute for a kid being taken to a festival. Marty really likes Opal's ass and it's a fun scene on the Ferris wheel, though I was secretly hoping she would have acknowledged seeing us jerking off in the reflection of the window in the gondola. Maybe in the repeat scenes. I'm personally excited to see the rest of the festival content, especially Korra and Tenzin's reaction after the water tribe leaders meeting and the directions we gave Korra.

Triple A games need years to complete, even if they have large teams and the money. Now, think about what you are expecting for an indie dev to do on their own or with a very very small team?
