I'm sure this is targeted towards the RP community of ffxiv, which makes it really weird that there isn't a futa mc or tag option considering if you go to any of the rp/erp hotspots on the rp datacenter 90% of the people are futa.

This for real. Sad the dev said they are not a fan of futa.

I hope the dev doesn't think I was demanding something, I was just asking, if there was that possibility since as they said that the LI have the possibility to have relationships with other women and men to try to balance the het, lesbian and gay content it, would have been great to have been able to see all the lesbian content including polysexual relationships without having to bring men into the equation.

If personally was my only reason to be interested in playing the game, since games that offer poly-lesbian possibilities can be counted on the fingers of my hands and I'm sure I'll end up with fingers to spare.

I merely wanted to express that I think your point is valid, just that the Devs already changed their original plans for how the relationships are handled, as initially not even a harem style dynamic was intended.

I would even say that the choice to have each character (on the non monogamous, non harem route) sleep with 1 character of each sex is maybe 1 of the least compelling choices overall, because most people prefer either or, so I think the targeted audience for having a mix of sexes for the additional romantic partners of everyone might actually be the smallest, compared to sticking to 1 varying sex for every character.

The problem is that if I do allow the player to choose whether a Polyamorous Y'shtola meets only men, only women, or both, I then need to adapt the rest of her questline so everything fits correctly whatever option we pick. And if I allow it for Y'shtola, obviously I need to do the same thing for the 5 other major romances.

On a purely technical side, it's doable. But as a solo dev, unfortunately I need to draw the line somewhere if I want the project to be finished one day, with a reasonable update cycle.

I meant that you could, theoretically, decide to have variations, 1 character is into both sexes, 1 is only into men, 1 into women. That sorta deal. But I absolutely get if you don't want to do it and/or if it's too much work, too, just like making it so the player can pick for each char individually would be too much work.

Given, I'm coming from the perspective of someone who finds it off putting when loveinterests fawn too much over characters of the opposite sex to the MC, though it's of course nowhere near as bad as when the MC herself does it, that can really sully the experience for me & there are quite a few games which I think kinda got downgraded by this. However that's not something I had an issue with in your game so far, so don't take this as critique please, just me trying to explain where I'm coming from!

Basically yes, in 0.3 case Hilda's routes are fully complete with no new story addition planned.

And even for major LI (like Y'shtola and Estinien who were added beforehand), their current routes has basically resolved their character arcs, but as I mentioned earlier I'll add some ending routes, like some sort of "epilogue" content for each when I'll get to the end of development.

Making a version of each sex scene with both current MC is already a lot of work (and is very expensive), adding a Futa MC would require making a 3rd version of each and that's just not an option, for scope's sake.



The way I'm planning it, towards the end of development for the game I'll add "Ending Routes" for each major character (Y'shtola, Lyse and Yugiri for the girls, Estinien, G'raha and Thancred for the boys).

These routes will have variations depending on what choice you made at the end of their questline. For example, if you chose monogamy or true harem with Y'shtola when she finds a way to travel to the First, she'll have two additionnal scenes with you and only you there, while just staying friends with Runar. If you chose polyamory however, you'll be able to either join them in a threesome, or let them do their thing (skipping the sex scene altogether).

For variation sake (and to balance content around straight, lesbian and gay stuff), each of the polyamory routes will probably interact with one male and one female character. I haven't decided which female character that would be for the catlady, but to answer your original question, no Y'shtola wouldn't bang the whole cast but only two that would make sense for her personnality.

Also, I haven't clarified it yet but Hilda isn't among these six "major characters" so her storyline fully ends at the end of this build, with (presumably) no further content added for her.

Here's the official roadmap I communicated on my Patreon following two different polls :

• 0.4 - G'raha, the PLD job, Limsa Lominsa / La Noscea zones, food buff system and Culinarian crafting job (gotta feed the catboi)
• 0.5 - Kan-E-Senna (who lost to Hilda in the 0.3 poll), the WHM job, Gridania / Blackshroud, adding armors to the equipment system and the rest of the crafting jobs
• 0.6 - Thancred (who lost to G'raha in the 0.4 poll), the GNB job, Ul'dah / Thanalan, implementing some Gold Saucer mini games
• 0.7 focus will be on Stormblood girls, with a future poll between Lyse and Yugiri (with the corresponding jobs and zones) and the Fisher job

My main goal is to cover the game region by region, with each new region tied to a new romance. For example, as eager as I was to add Lyse to the cast, it'd be hard to justify adding Ala Mhigo without first accessing to the Black Shroud in-between. And if I was to add the Black Shroud, having Kan-E-Senna as a minor LI there made sense too.

From that, you can guess that I'm planning to do the same with Shadowbringers and Endwalker zones, tying these new regions to specific romances, male and female alike. By the time I get to Dawntrail, chances are the 8.0 will be out so I might do a timeskip and even take advantage of that to add the twins, Ryne or Gaia.

These minor characters won't get treated with the same amount of content each time, and also I'd very much like to have some smaller scale, easy-to-unlock sex stuff with minor side-characters (with suggestions from the players) but this can't happen with my current budget. The Patreon page is slowly picking up (huge thanks to anyone who subscribed, even as free members !) but it'll take some time before I can fund the game's commissions with these earnings, and only then I'll be able to add "extra" stuff outside of that initial roadmap.

i see, pretty good roadmap, im excited to see future updates and curious about the shadowbringers love interests, but i kinda have a guess for the male one

Maybe i'll start helping on patreon after i resolve some things in my work

I've updated the initial post with a bugfix update.

This hasn't been reported on here, but some players experienced an issue after fighting the Vundus during Hilda's 1st quest.

I'm using a specific variable (called "questBattle") for quest-related battles and I didn't reset the variable afterwards, which led to any "normal" fight triggering the Vundu encounter again and again from then on. If you haven't encountered this bug, or managed to get rid of it (either by triggering another quest battle or being defeated, which reset the "questBattle" variable), you don't need to download the 0.3.1 version as it's really the only issue that is addressed.
