sometimes someone being too inoccent can make you dislike themI don't understand why I was always so harsh with Nicki. She's such a fragile creature and did nothing wrong towards the MC.
I think it was the tattoos.

I don't think Nicki is innocent or naive at all - at least less than most of them. She's just beat-down and wounded.sometimes someone being too inoccent can make you dislike them
I think it's because we as players don't know much about her at the start of the game, the game just says that the MC had a crush on her and that they were friends with the MC. The MC might know her well, but I as a player don't. And we don't get a chance to get to know her better until she shows up at the door with a ridiculous reason to ask for money. So it's not that obvious why the MC would suddenly want to help her (solve the douchebag's problems) for free.I don't understand why I was always so harsh with Nicki. I was quite fine with giving her money. In my blind run, my spider sense was tingling from the sequence of events, from liked picture, to showing up after not hanging out for a while all dolled up and the MC realistically picks up on that.I think it's because we as players don't know much about her at the start of the game, the game just says that the MC had a crush on her and that they were friends with the MC. Yup, not to mention this is such small amount for Guy, helping someone who's pretty much his only friend is like... "why is this supposed to be a problem and something to hold over her, again?"It's always easy to spend imaginary money on good deeds
But seriously, me too, but definitely not because of their friendship and special connection with Guy in the past.
Unfortunately for you Risa only really wants her daddy.I don't know about you guys but if Risa wanted to I would move and Elope with her and live the rest of my days with her.

Even if you notice the trickery and manipulation behind the way she came to ask for money, dolled up, lower the MC's guard with the classic 'lets watch the show like we used to' strategy ?Honestly if I was rich and she was asking for chump change to a millionaire like 10k as long as I liked the person enough would of been no issue for me even if I barley knew them. But that would be a one time deal until I get to know them better.
I think it really depends on how much the player identifies with Guy. Guy knows Nicki very well and knows that she's not trying to trick him. Nicki is like a certain Jill in some ways, she's also a bitEven if you notice the trickery and manipulation behind the way she came to ask for money, dolled up, lower the MC's guard with the classic 'lets watch the show like we used to' strategy ?![]()
Part of that is Brent's doing, part of that is likely hesitance about going "acshually i need help from you" right from opening the door. Yes, Nicki is trying to make the request appealing, but why should this outweigh that she genuinely needs help, and that this help isn't even going to involve any sort of a sacrifice on Guy's part?Even if you notice the trickery and manipulation behind the way she came to ask for money, dolled up, lower the MC's guard with the classic 'lets watch the show like we used to' strategy ?![]()
I'm with you here. You know you guys talk about how sweet of an angel Nicki is. But you guys are forgetting Risa she is just as sweet of an angel as Nicki she may look a little mean or like a bad girl on the outside but on the inside she is a sweet delicate flower that needs extra love. I don't know about you guys but if Risa wanted to I would move and Elope with her and live the rest of my days with her.
I'm just playing devil's advocate, I didn't hate the plot of giving her the money as much as the forced sex.Part of that is Brent's doing, part of that is likely hesitance about going "acshually i need help from you" right from opening the door. It's kind of like a starving person (that you knew for a long time) coming to bakery and asking for a loaf of bread, and you go on them "YOU ARE TRYING TO MANIPULATE ME BECAUSE YOU KNOW I'VE GOT LOT OF FOOD. FUCK YOU, NO BREAD FOR YOU UNLESS YOU PAY WITH YOUR ASS".
Which is to say, focusing on the wrong thing, imo.
honestly never saw any trickery and manipulation from my pov because of how they were friends. Not saying she didn't but when I first played I never saw any ill intent behind it or thought anything of it until she mentioned Brent. But since the game told how me how Guy feels for Nicki and sees her as his only friend was never a hard decision to make. ( which is why I can't wait to giver her money without sex)Even if you notice the trickery and manipulation behind the way she came to ask for money, dolled up, lower the MC's guard with the classic 'lets watch the show like we used to' strategy ?![]()
Well, I can't say I never saw any manipulation - only that it wasn't necessary. Brent's pushing her to dress that way and offer herself up or whatever didn't improve her odds any. I would have given Nicky the money because she asked. As I said before, if she had texted and asked for 20k I would have given it to her - but that's me. I'm intensely loyal and value loyalty highly in others.honestly never saw any trickery and manipulation from my pov because of how they were friends. Honestly after seeing all the paths where she asked for less money than Brent wanted. I don't even see any malice or manipulation behind it as you can see she didn't want to even ask. She couldn't say no to Brent as she didn't have the willpower to show backbone towards him back then.
That's part of showing how shitty Brent is as a person. The mc got rich off of HIS tip(in his mind) so of course the only way someone would help a friend out with money is if she offers to sleep with him(because that's what he would want if she came to him).Well, I can't say I never saw any manipulation - only that it wasn't necessary.
