Their Patreon is still regularly updated, there just hasn't been a public release since November last year. Seems pretty in line with their release schedule so far.

I started over to test this, and it worked just fine for me.
Did you choose to skip the prologue? If so, then the Forest-Entrance and Forest-Water Stream areas are already complete, and you should start on the Forest-Deep Woods level.

Alright, I gotta ask: Any cheats for this game?
I really like the art style, and the story's decent enough for me to like reading it, but I really do not like the gameplay (or more specifically, the grind part of it). Just a way to get items and crystals faster is all I need.

i'd presume so if you just sell all the monster crystals you get instead of using them to unlock scenes in the crystal device
