Sure, but historically the game's always been packaged that way, and i've seen other Godot games do the same, so that wasn't a red flag in itself here

Depends where this download actually came from and if it was tampered with first
same here but i dint open it just had some lag in the explorer folder so i delete it
i made a few scan but they all seem to be ok

I think the developer need to fix it on his end because steam have the same problem when its showing that there is a malware
can we get a mod to rule on whether this download is actually malicious? If so it should probably be removed from the main page
Also, the unopenable problem is caused by an issue they fixed in their most recent hotfix (1.02), which came out yesterday

5,000 downloads from the gofile link but only a few people complaning, seems odd
OK Guys, first reaction is that the game is NOT Malicious. Steam users are commenting that they too are getting false flags in discussions on the steam community page. When doing anything with the game in windows or whatever, it makes defender go haywire and that's why the explorer is crashing. Just right click the game and watch Defender spike in task manager. For the time being be cautious, but this has happend before with GoDot games (found a thread on reddit)

what is this programm which you are using? I also want to know the same thing. Some say it is ok and others claim it stole their accounts/it is problematic. I am even more confused because the previous versions didn't have any problems but this version gets flagged
Edit: if i read it correctly on the discord server it is a general problem and the developer is aware and looking into it (he also doesn't know what it is). i conclude that it is probably a false positive but i am still not opening it just to be sure.

One guy said it stole his things, also he downloaded it from igg, which are famous for just reposting other peoples cracks which sometimes are filled with viruses.
It's probably bait or something else he downloaded.
