Should I adjust the volume down on the sound effect?

I can do something like that pretty easily.
That's probably a good idea, but I keep running into the issue where it's continuously playing even after everyone's sat down and started talking. Like if Renpy forgot to turn it back off.

Ah, that sounds like an audio bug then - I can easily adjust the volume down, but if you happen to recall where the audio continued that it should not have, please let me know & I'll happily fix it. If you're playing the leaked version here, there's a chance the bug has already been fixed in the 1.90 on Steam / Patreon / Itch, but in case it's not, I'm always happy to fix up things that people share where I can easily chase it down.

Also I'll try to review the code while I'm preparing the 1.95 for later this month & adjusting the volume to see if I can find / notice anything off myself. Much obliged.

Couldn't find it reported already, so I wanted to share that when you take Daisy clothes shopping, and she comes out with the red dress on, saying "You look really good" gives you a pop up of "+1 Daisy liked that," but does *not* award you a love point with her. If you have answered "perfectly" up until then, you end up with only 9/10 for Daisy's love score.

Hm, it seems like that's already been fixed, here's the current (1.95 in progress) code, which should be the same as the game back to the 1.85 edition, I believe:
Code:
    menu:
        "You look really good":
            play music "audio/LE06-EmotionalHipHop-Jacome.ogg" volume .7
            play nature "audio/likeboost.ogg" noloop
            show screen liked_that_romance(dee) with dissolve
            with Pause(1.0)
            hide screen liked_that_romance with dissolve
            scene bg shopping068b with dissolve

mainc "{i}Her face lit up when I gave her the compliment. {/i}"
mainc "{i}My chest puffed out a little in pride, but then another area began swelling up.{/i}"
            $deelovescore += 1
            scene bg shopping068c with dissolve

            dee "Thank you!"
Can you tell me what version you're playing?

I'm probably overthinking this one, but I put up a patreon poll, and figured I'd post here, too.

In the legacy version of the game, there are a few replay scenes that are in the replay gallery many times, to quickly load up that starting point in a longer scene...however, I think it makes more sense to only include the one version of the replay per scene.

I feel like in the legacy version of the game, it also might make folks believe there are more scenes in total than exist in the game, instead of multiple replay images leading to the same scene, just different portions of that scene.

Curious to hear others thoughts on this one.

It's pretty much constant, which is why it was so grating.
I've found maybe 2-3 instances of where the footfall sounds could have been stopped earlier, or maybe were missing a clear stop where they should have stopped. The next update will have those edits, thanks again for reporting this as an issue. Also I've been adding a "volume .5," to lower the sound effect by about half in the mix, which should make things more pleasant to the ear.

Fixed a few more walking sound issues on day 5 morning before the gym scene, yeah, that wasn't awesome. Much appreciate the bug reports here & elsewhere that help me get to the bottom of any issues in the game. Thanks.

If I didn't care about the game quality, I wouldn't have spent 10 months so far remaking it. Although to be fair, not 100% is getting remade, there's maybe ~10% of the content from the original in the remake so far, and then for the various endings, many of the older scenes will be getting added & reused.

Speaking of though, since I am still working on the game & haven't finished, any requests as always are of interest. It's nearly impossible to understand "here's how I could appeal to more folks," since, you know, I'm mostly making stuff that I think could be good - and it's not always the same.

It's amazing what changed in the time you've worked on this. I can only look forward to what this will do for development on your other games.
You definitely care about the game's quality and I've said it before - I can be quite critical if someone is taking a piss out of players, but you stuck by what you told me months ago. That's commendable, Chungus!

Alright, the 1.95 update is out there as of yesterday on Steam, Itch, and for higher tier patreon supporters. I've just shipped a bug fix update this morning as well. The audio for the footsteps was improved (lowered) and there were numerous bug fixes related to audio, as well as some logic bugs that impacted the game throughout from day 2 to day 5.

This update sets the stage for the five good endings in the game - previously, there were four good endings. What are those 5? There's the canonical harem ending with all three of the primary love interests, a good ending with each of Daisy, Lily, and Rose - and now an ending with other love interests in the game including Tricia / Elizabeth, Vanessa / Sara, Jen, and Lois. For the most part, the scenes & animations will for the five endings are going to be repurposed from the remaining scenes that were not remade which originally appeared in the previous version of the game.

The exception to that, for now, is the scene with Lois, which clearly needs to be remade, since the character changed from the older version of the game to the new version.

I should have the next update (1.99) out sometime in April, next month. Between now and then, I'll be polling the supporters on Patreon as well once I have most of the new content finished to see "What else?" folks believe should be either part of the game - or - part of one of the various endings.

Happy to see the rework coming along nicely.
Just curious if you have any plans to rework any other games you might control? Like Sword of Wonder Maybe? ;)

Ah, my older games under my previous brand were taken over by an imbecile, unfortunately. Those include Romancing the Kingdom, Superspy Steve, and Sword of Wonder. Do not expect any updates there, since again, the person who now owns them is an idiot, just read the steam complaints about bugs.

The only ones under the Big Chungus brand are things I manage; those include this one, Milfy Cases, Horny Holiday, Spark of Joy, and Ardent Passions.

Her Heart's Desire remake should be finished in 1 month, give or take depending on what requests might happen or other stuff, and then I'll be resuming work on Milfy Cases similar to the remake for HHD, where I'll be starting from scratch, but with the amount of content that's there, it should go faster to rebuild an equivalent experience, and then my goal is to finish that game completely by the end of 2026.

In parallel, my partner (who's been working with me for almost a year now) will be continuing the updates & improvements to Horny Holiday - the first of which launched last week, and the second should launch in another month or so, with an eye toward finishing that up to the "4.0," since it's had a lot of rework and expansion since launch, sometime this summer. Then, she's going to be working on Spark of Joy, with a similar timeline to Milfy Cases.

Ardent Passions, our superhero game, comes after Milfy Cases, since once that's finished, I'll have the bandwidth to work on it finally.

So...in the distant future, I may revisit a fantasy game, since as an author, that was my favorite genre to write in, as well as a reader, my favorite to consume.

Thanks for asking, it means a lot.
