I am conflicted. A long test time means a lot of content updates. Short test time means not so much. Even when Darkhound has a good track record with few bugs, for him also holds the law of 'double the amount of code, double the amount of bugs'.
Correct, but the titfight night is a monolithic structure that is low on complex code and high on renders.
These are trivial to test, mostly a grammar exercise.
As this feature is typical for the main releases, which tend to have a virtual novel / monolithic component (Lab, Sail Trip), they tend to require much less testing than their size suggests.
Combine this with bugs being fixed on a running basis during the beta test (fast iterations) and there is not much difference between a main release's beta test's duration and a ditto content release.
(Edit. Am one of the testers, which I assume surprise none, though others are more imporant there as I am more a things for Darkhound than test it duck)
