As a producer, I disagree. My hobby became my career. I'm also a trained musician, fluent with many instruments. But, I've never really considered my work as "a job" per se. Yes, it can get tedious sometimes, but I've never really had a "burnout" fortunately.Would you do the same thing as a hobby that you get paid to do as a job? Unless you are a Porn star that's a recipe for maximum burnout.![]()
I once heard someone say; "Find a job doing what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life." I think the majority of these devs are just doing what they love. Even if it's just on the side, I bet some of them will make it a career, they're just grinding and striving. Like music, There's so much competition. It's hard ..
