does this mean we should no download the op torrent, but just dl R6?R6 has been out since mid-October. Thread title doesn't update, but STN posts updates here.
Yes, that's a severely outdated version. If I already have Honey Select 2 R5, do I need to redownload the whole game to get Honey Select DX or is there a way to just update the files I already have?
Into the Mods folder.where should i unzip the 58g mod file? i just unzip the game file into the root folder
Not really, mine usually works right out of the box, or should I say out of the archive file.Holy shit guys, it looks like it's a pain to get this game proper up and running, isn't?
so that is a ~110GB download. compressed. just to start a game.Hmmm......I got my R6 torrent also fromYou must be registered to see the links
File named "[ScrewThisNoise] HoneySelect 2 DX BetterRepack R6.torrent" 549 KB
This download includes both game Repack6 packed 42,7 GB and Studio7 66,7 GB (took some hours).
I only unpacked the game yet (anywhere with enough space), started with InitSetting.exe and the game was working fine out of the box!
Your point?so that is a ~110GB download. compressed. just to start a game.
Does that seem right to you?
If you missed that; ~110GB download, plus minimum ~55GB unzip of the ~43GB game file is, what 165GB of disk space to play a game.Your point?
I think you are missing the point... yes the game is big.... So my question stands...If you missed that; ~110GB download, plus minimum ~55GB unzip of the ~43GB game file is, what 165GB of disk space to play a game.
Thais a kinda big point to miss...
Well, with this question you are not wrong. Compared to real complex games like Skyrim or Fallout4 (100 - 140GB incl. many extracted mods) the game engine of HS 2 seems really not to be the all the rage.so that is a ~110GB download. compressed. just to start a game.
Does that seem right to you?
Yes, actually. It is a torrent containing the entire set, not just the game, but a second archive called the Sideloader Modpack. This is where the majority of that size comes from and the modpack is unnecessary for the game itself, so you can just disable that file in your torrent client.so that is a ~110GB download. compressed. just to start a game.
Does that seem right to you?
Sideloader Modpack alone is 20GB - you really don´t need?Yes, actually. It is a torrent containing the entire set, not just the game, but a second archive called the Sideloader Modpack. This is where the majority of that size comes from and the modpack is unnecessary for the game itself, so you can just disable that file in your torrent client.
Man, that's huge, holy sh.... the thought of having almost 20% of the hdd spent on one single game makes me kinda sad and discouraged to try it...If you missed that; ~110GB download, plus minimum ~55GB unzip of the ~43GB game file is, what 165GB of disk space to play a game.
Thais a kinda big point to miss...
