This game is one of the worst games I have ever played, it can be ranked in the top three. Disgusting
The more I play, the angrier I get. I really don’t know how much money was spent on making this game but it’s a piece of shit.

Last time I played this game, I've spent hours to see just one pair of titties, and that's it. Seriously, it's easier to get to a party and get some pussy there in real life than in this game. Why in the world devs thought it's a brilliant idea to make their game so ridiculously complicated so it's basically impossible to play through it without a guide? Come on man, finding all the secrets in Dark Souls is easier than getting laid in this trash.
But what about the smut part? Is it worth the pain? Absolutely not. 3D models from 2003 or something, cheap ass crappy animations, laughably bad body physics. Just go install some porn mods on Sims 4 and you'll get better experience with the same (or even better) graphics.

Pretty funny game, so much options and characthers, awesome atmosphere, you can enjoy the game for days, exploring every path.
The characthers are very diverse and good looking, but the sex scenes are very bland.

House party, is one of kind game, it should be considered a masterpiece in terms of social interacting. But a emphays on "should", as good as this games is there are so flaws that makes it almost a peferct game. To sustain my point, I will divide the review in 2 main points:
NSFW Aspect and Non-NSFW aspect

NSFW Aspect:
It has a way that cativates you to achive the so desired moment of intamacy, and in its contex a party occuring in a unknow house and you was invited through a friend of your, form arriving you see varios figures, each having a unique story andpersonality. Every aspect of the chararcter affects its way that you seduce them and makes the felling of the H-scene diferent, form you banging the hot young sister to the self asured nerd.
In technical terms the aspect of the h-scene is very good also, from you being able to either watch a cutscene of the moment of chose to control the scene during as the MC POV.

Non-NSFW Aspect:
The gameplay for itself can be monotome, you just do request and interact with the people of the party, butI found out that it can be very fun to talk to the NPC, know them and their likes/dislikes.
What really makes this game almost perfect is that many of the characters have a route of their own and the action you do can both unlock a route or lock them, thus made me several times having to see the wiki/walkthrough to achive the desired result, making some of my 'runs' in the game boring due to having to follow a specific course of actions.

Conclusion:
This game is a must play from my point of view, as though it lacks som e of ramdom choices/events it obviusly doesn't make the game unplayable, you will definately spend a lot of time here and enjoy all of it, form both gameplay to h-scene

This is a tough one. Love it and/or hate it.

Concept is 5/5. It really is an excellent themed game with a good story. A party where you can just interact with whatever girls or stuff you want, at your own pace. The other concept that makes this game shine for me, is Character Customization! This is huge. Countless times I've wanted to change girls in avn's for various reasons.. Don't like dark/light skin? change it. Want green skin? Can change hair and clothing. Breast and butt size too small or big? change it! Awesome.
More games should have options for changing the girls. I don't want thicc or fat or old or ugly or flat chicks.. Why not let people customize the LI's so Everyone can enjoy your AVN, instead of trying to satisfy too many fetishes, making it unsatisfying for those without the fetishes...? This game gets an award from me for going the extra mile on this, and having hot girls to start with.
Girls - 5/5 - Every girl is hot, and if you don't like something, you can customize her! Perfect.

Graphics - 5/6 - I say out of 6 because there's newer graphics that can produce better models, but this game didn't have those, and still the graphics are way better than most avns, even ones that use newer software.

Lewdity - 4.5/5 - This also depends on the person. Some people need more sex, while others are good with more of the teasing bits of nudity. Personally, I loved the way this was done. If you give too much, it's not exciting or desirable. Sex is there, its just after you've gone through some story with the girl. I'm much more into the build-up and the teasing/voyeur/accidental/partial nudity that this game gives, plus the build-up to the sex scenes.

Gameplay .... 3.5/5 This is where it's tough for everyone. For some, this is 5/5, and others its 0/5, depending on your threshold for figuring it all out or using a WT.
The effort for the gameplay is 5/5 though. The issue is personal preference for the complexity, and lack of guided experience.

It can be cool and fun if you're one that likes to figure it all out. But it's also not very intuitive or quick for those that are somewhere in the middle; and it's especially not easy for those disinclined to this kind of thing and just want to progress without thinking too much.
To make the most of this avn, you'll need a good WT. The one linked here is good. But this is also time-consuming, and you have to constantly check it.
The game is made so that you can have multiple play-thrus with different experiences. But I'm the kind of person that wants to do it all in one go, so I needed a WT. This got old after a while and I dropped the game for a long time... But recently picked it back up because this game is like no other, even years later...
It really is a gem. That's why I don't want to give it a bad rating. We need more games like this. Just updated and with a good clue system or in-game WT.

I hope we see more games like this in the future. So instead of complaining so much that it was too hard and giving bad ratings, lets compliment the good, and ask for improvements.

Overly complicated and mostly boring. Plus the animations and character models aren't great, feels like I could just have the same experience with a modded Sims 4 game.

Additionally, the game's performance is terrible. Like the loading screens take forever and the game lags, even on potato quality. For what is essentially a 3D VN, there's no reason for it to be this performance heavy.

Lastly, more girls than guys by a large margin.

I played this game near 4-5 hour and i cant see even 1 sex scence. This just fkin adult game and its so complicated for it. Its taking too much time. If you have so much trash time, you can play. At least i didnt give my money

This game is one of the few 3D porn games out there (the only one I've tried), and it's real-time 3D—not just static renders from a program. But because of that, the graphics aren't as good as pre-rendered games. They have to keep it simple with textures and polygons to run smoothly, so it's not fair to compare it to those games. You should think of it more like other first-person 3D games from the same time period, like shooters or exploration games, and I think House Party holds up pretty well in that comparison.

If you're looking for something just to get off to, you might prefer the pre-rendered games with better scenes. This one isn't as great in that department and lacks variety. But if you want a game that's fun and different, kind of like Leisure Suit Larry (hope it's okay I mentioned that), then this could be a good pick. It's got a funny story and it's enjoyable to play.

So why would I give it 5 stars? First, because it's unique. Second, because it's not just a funny story—it's actually fun to play as a game. If I was rating it purely for getting off, it'd be more like 3 stars, considering it's an indie game with a small budget, especially for its time.

I would say it’s unique in its gameplay. Super replayable. They add content constantly. It’s not just about sex, it has funny and crazy situations. I would say it’s a game that you must try of this kind. The only thing I could reproach it for is the bad Spanish translation, but hey, at least it exists, and I didn’t take the trouble to search, but surely there are patches with better translations than the official one.

This was a really cool game when it was released, but I revisited it recently and it's just...unrealized potential.

There's still a nice feel of being at a party where you're organically trying to bang the guests. But with adding MORE opportunities, the game becomes more complicated and its easier to miss things or get locked out of entire characters. Because of the complicated nature, it means the game is impossible to play without a guide. And even the guide is so complicated it's a chore to follow it.

So the game becomes more following a guide and ignoring the story and immersion.

Graphics were good in 2016, but they're really not up to par now and there seems to be a missed opportunity to update the sex scenes properly. The added camera angles etc. don't do enough to compensate.

It's still a relatively fun thing to grab and play through, but there's a good chance you won't enjoy it and if you played it when it was released, I wouldn't recommend going back to it.

I appreciate the concept of House Party, a free-roam problem-solving game with a good variety of interactions and rich, unique character designs. However, as an adult game the sex scenes are very clunky, stiff and tasteless, an exact opposite of the concept of freedom - the key gameplay element where this type of games shine. -1 star for this, and another -1 star for the horrible optimization and buggy mess.

I've played House Party multiple times cuz the concept is great, the development is magnificent, I love the characters, the game is competent in terms of gameplay, but the bugs are unacceptable, and it is very poorly optimized. I play it on a gaming PC, bro, I have games with better graphics installed that run better than this. In fact, if you check the trailers, you'll see the delay in the fps rate, I mean, you're not being ripped off or anything, the truth is they haven't been able to optimize it well, and it doesn't matter if you lower the graphics or set everything for a potato PC, cuz it will still run slow. At least that's been my experience, a great game with many bugs and poorly optimized, so 3 stars. Sorry

There's some decent content in here but its made like a game where its fun to fail, what with every 2nd dialogue option losing you points (sometimes out of character just to fuck you over). The only problem is its not fun at all to lose points, theyre a pain to get, the loading time is weird and broken up into 2 parts so quick loading sucks, and theres way too much running around for too little content.

The idea of the game sounds good, but in reality the gameplay is very boring and difficult. It doesn't have the simplicity and freedom you would expect from a game like this. There's too much unnecessary dialog, interaction and mission. It's not worth all the trouble the game puts you through just to have sex with an animated girl. In real life, it's probably easier to have sex with a girl you just met than with the annoying NPCs in this game. While the graphics are terrible, the game has a serious optimization problem. You can play much better adult games made by one person. Also despite years of updates, there is no noticeable improvement in the House Party.

This is one of the best games in the porn game genre and the best in terms of technical features. It's a shame that there are very few games like this.
Yes, there are a few games in which you can move with a first-person view ("Afterparty", "TrainCapacity" and some other game that weighs like a nekkboskreb and is very difficult to unpack from the archive) but they are very far from the level of House Party. When I saw the trailer for this game, I couldn't believe it was actually a full-fledged game.
The developers have not abandoned the game and continue to improve it, optimize it and add content. The game used to have long loading saves and this could be considered a minus of the game, but now they have improved this point. They have added the ability to customize characters.
Of course the game has its disadvantages, but I can turn a blind eye to them because of the fact that this game simply has no worthy competitors.
If I had the money I would buy this game on Steam to support the developers - that's how good this game is.

It's the best sandbox + dating simulator that also has sex in it.

- You seduce girls (and even guys). Your choices affect whether or not you get to have sex, so it's not linear nonsense where you're just looking at what the author has decided for you.
- You can have both duo and trio sex.
- You can watch the sex in either third-person or first-person - total immersion in the experience. These aren't the typical animations we're used to in the rest of the games when you're looking at looped videos. These are full 3D animations.
- Each character has its own character, its own appearance, its own peculiarities, so there will be no one-type girls, barely different from each other and causing boredom.
- Excellent voice acting, and all phrases are voiced.
- Moving from the first person.
- Good optimization. I have GTX 1070 and I had no problems with optimization, crashes, hangs.
- The game has a console, so you can add items to your inventory if you want (so you don't torture yourself), fuck anyone in all different poses or make them pose. The console is a huge plus.

You might find some of the quests difficult, but there's a walkthrough for each character online, so if you get stuck or don't want to think, you can find guides. Or use the console.
No matter what anyone says, this game is a must play.

Definitely worth checking out. Well made, unique and with some actual gameplay involved. While sexual overtones permeate everything it's hard for me to call it a 'porn game' as the action is rather... subpar... compared to everything else. Lastly, the damn song for being so simple and annoying gets stuck in your head.

I waffled on my rating for this.

Technically, the game does a number of things well. You can play as either a Male or Female character. I think you can romance every character in the game, some in multiple ways. Your choices matter. There's a huge web of social interactions and decisions to navigate. There's voice acting. The fact that the reactions to what you say can vary based on who is around is particularly clever, as are the idle chatter "hints" that the NPCs will give.

That said, I was ultimately disappointed. I found the pacing to be too slow. It was more challenging to get what I wanted (sexy times) than I wanted and even when I got there they weren't particularly satisfying. Too often I found myself in a wander-around-and-try-stuff-because-something-here-must-work pattern. I found the story to generally be more annoying than funny or clever. I ultimately gave up because it didn't seem to be worth the trouble.

All told, though, I think House Party is pretty good, even if I didn't really like it.

So I bought this game on steam way back at release.

The models are attractive.

People complain about the puzzle difficulty but it's not terrible. Old Sierra games were harder.

The main problem with gameplay is the conversation minigame requires save scumming. Often the main "jerk" choices drop your relationship stats. This is a pity because they often elicit funny reactions, but if it locks you out of a route and requires a restart it's a poor gameplay choice

Extremely disappointing, specially considering the top-notch 3D models, animations and voice acting (which mostly carry the rating alone, due to the production quality), it seems to be a huge wasted potential because of 2 core problems:

1) The main gameplay, which is to become friendly with the girls and have sex, is incredibly more obtuse than it should be. What should have been a fun and carefree party sandbox, is in reality an annoying puzzle solving mess, that would make the worst of the sierra adventure games blush due to the dumb item scavenging and the unintuitive logic required to solve them.
You receive very little to no hints, and the hints that you do receive are almost always vague at best. Worse still, you can quite easily fuck things up and get blocked from progression due to the messy quest-line progression , due to entanglement with other characters or due to actually being able to destroy or lose required items, literally forcing you to restart the game.

2) The actual adult content is... underwhelming. When you inevitable resort to a walk-through (just for one girl tough, because to max out with one girl questline, you need to block yourself from others) the reward of the sex scenes feels lacking.
There is no 3rd person camera control (only POV), no intensity control, no gallery to view scenes, you need to keep tens of saves for different game states, and the scenes themselves, while decent, are brought down by the insane effort you have to put up to reach them, ending up being not worth the whole trouble.
