I tried setting my system to JAP but I still have the issue. I even reinstalled Locale Emulator but it changed nothing.

I don't understand this.
The issue seems the patch itself, I can run the Jap exe, but not the EN one. Strange.

Try installing and/or extracting everything with the system set to Japanese. Some folders/files might be in japanese characters and when you install or extract the game in non-japanese language it might mess their names and the game won't find them even when using Locale or if the system is in Jap.

It's indeed weird that you can run it in JP but not ENG. Maybe the english patch really is bugged.

Ah, yes, I did that. Else I'd get "can't find [japfile]" when starting the jap app.
I had the same issue with Light and Shadow Doppelganger. I tried fixing it various times but I only wasted time.
It's supposed to be faulty memory but running scans reveals that everything is in order.
At this point I think AI patches are prone to issues or I have some conflicts I can't see

Hentai-sharing is trustworthy, shouldn't be an issue. Just be cautious as with any link for a piracy site.

I think people should wait a couple days before sharing it here. I haven't been able to buy the game yet since im poor but this gem is a once in 3 years experience (for me atleast) and I think the developer should be respected for that.
