I manage to find restoration patch for the Flight diary on reddit and it's working fine. I now can watch the sex scene albeit untranslated. Here's the reddit link

Bought this game via STEAM a decade ago.
For the longest time i thought this is a normal VN.

I was so wrong.

Actually my first eroge. I learned so much about how computer files worked by trying to patch this damned game on Steam so many years back. Even then it would have wierd glitches like one route having a pop-up image of a book stuck on screen for at least 70% of the route, and the duck in a majority of another. Nearly bricked the old family PC trying (incorrectly) to switch to Japanese Locale. I owe almost all my computer knowledge thanks to this one damned game, and I'm thankful. Enjoy it, everyone.

Not sure. Have you checked if your filenames in your data folder aren't corrupted? I remember having an issue where japanese characters would be replaced with gibberish.

Getting the same error. Not sure what's causing it.

EDIT: It looks like the issue is that the game folder keeps defaulting back to Read-Only even after I unchecked the box for it. Anyone know how to fix this? The patch isn't able to finish due to the D3 error.
