he is getting slower and slower...not surprising knowing he did upgrade his rendering rig :KEK:
now he only needs to put this game on steam, so we can finally enjoy yearly releases as with any other popular game:love:
The update was released on Feb. 28.
He started working on 0.9 on Mar. 6 and today he's at 60% and is Mar. 31 = 25 days from start to 60%

0.8 reached 60% on Jan. 20 and he started working on it Dec. 17 (inbetween he took off 5 days for new year) = 29 days.
0.7 reached 60% on Nov. 4 and he started working on it Oct. 14 = 21 days.
0.6 reached 60% on Sep. 5 and he started working on it Aug. 9 = 27 days.

Seems to be very in line with the past. The trend doesn't even take in consideration the improved graphics.

well, i hope you are all correct regarding this game dev and its developing speed.
i cant say i took into consideration his days off, just an overall "feeling" that he is slowing down compared to previous releases, while he did hope the development should become faster considering his (now) improved hardware.

at the end, it seems as for now he is more or less on his average speed, at least for the last few updates.
and i wouldnt point out "improved graphic" as a positive argument regarding dev.cycles, or we might enter so called "oceans 9 circles of (developing) hell" :HideThePain:

TF do you mean "hope we all correct" ? we are correct
Before you spewed out some bs about how the game development getting "slower and slower" how about actually looking at the dev logs timings and based your facts on that instead of your "feeling". As cringe as this may sound but "facts dont care about your feelings"

I get that there're a lack trust in this space and there's a lot case where a game blows up and the devs just became lazier and lazier till the point that they dont care anymore. But you have to look at it on a case-by-case basis. This game is not even that popular, Lazy Monkey "only" has 220 subs on his patreon instead off tens of thoudsands like an actual "popular" game, and hes still one of the most consistent devs in the space.

He's not slowing down.

And this isn't even counting the amount of renders we are getting since the PC upgrade, which I am sure is higher.

Lazy Monkey (despite the name) has among the highest "content to development time" ratios on the site lol
and that says more about others than him, lol.
great times ahead, no doubt, yet, im gonna stop here and let you all enjoy your fav devs work in peace and quiet.

You're "stopping" from Imperial Chronicles because you feel like the dev slowed down, despite being presented with evidence that he's not?

Alright, man, you do you...
