Is it possible for the protagonist to get into a proper relationship yet?

I like how she can have the "stolen moments with someone who shouldn’t" while cheating with Bobby, but it would be fun for her to be able to do that from his side of things too.

Sort of? The only one that really seems to have an opportunity to "define" a relationship, and that is Cassidy.

James gives you the option, when he calls, to talk about being 'serious', FWB, or end his route/ghost him. But it's kind of conflicting. If you want a serious relationship, he says he's not ready to be serious. But if you pick FWB he seems to be disappointed you don't want something more but goes along with it. Not sure what to really think about the conflicting answer from him... I may have missed a Romance point check during this phone call.

Cassidy seems to be the most involved in a relationship. Once you've gotten MC to consider herself bisexual, you need to get a job at the record shop. She'll ask if you've ever messed around with your two roommates at one point. You need 'Romance' points to be at a certain threshold for some steps (if I read it correctly). She'll ask and be very happy if you want to be serious with her. You can go on a total of 3 dates (I think?) with her.

Once you start to go down Cassidy's path, Scarlett has a path that seems like it starts to open... as she oversees MC and Cassidy together in MC's room and seems quite interested. So it'll be interesting to see how she plays out and her relationship with Bobby.

How do you even trigger the third Cassidy date? I got the second one, and on the incredibly vague "Just a tip" It says the third date will eventually trigger

She'll call you on the first Saturday that you are free, so you can't have any other obligations. (I might work on this so that there is a better in-narrative hint that you will need to keep a Saturday free to continue the path.)

Weird, I'm on a Saturday and went waiting 15 minutes at a time, 1 hour, 2 hours and roaming the map and nothing.



I'm very tempted to try a new game from start for the next update, because the same happens with Abby where I can't advance because it says "This hint will unlock automatically soon" (after the "I tried on an outfit right on the floor of the clothing boutique!)

I thought I read somewhere in the code that for one of the events you also need a high(-ish) level of Romance points to trigger one of her events. I just don't remember if it was for the third date or for something else off the top of my head. I remember for one of my playthroughs (wasn't the roommates, wasn't Abbey... I don't think it was James so it might have been Cassidy) I ended up watching a LOT of Romance Movies over a in-game weekend on TV, as it's one of the few ways to raise romance.

I've looked at a lot of different games in the last two weeks, so I could very well be misremembering what I'm talking about.

For the other paths, Abby/James/etc., some require advancing other paths first. I believe at a couple of points for Abbyyou have to have progressed further down the Roommates path, or reduced inhibition enough to participate in the dare events. The tips don't always spell out exactly what is needed, so for Abbey progress the roomates paths, lower inhibition and increase corruption, and it *should* trigger.

Personal view I really like the Abby content and love the Cassidy option but will wait for it to go further and be a little easier to trigger as there's an awful lot of waiting around at the moment.
James, unfortunately seems to only be a FWB option as he only teases with the serious option. In fact, the guy you go with if you do the escort content seems more interested in something serious on the straight side.
I guess the main issue is that I don't (and won't) do anything with Bobby and Shaun...

I always intended to come back to James to fill out some of the other relationship options with him, and that is still my intention. I think the former writer really felt drawn to Bobby and Mr. Jones, which is why there is so much there.
