This is bollocks. The Patreon was up for ages after the dev disappeared.He was in a conflict with Patreon Rules ( he was reported from a user) and Patreon closed his side. it is a shame his game was cool imao.
I was talking with the Dev in Discord after Patreon closed his side.Which Patreon mean you ? I only know what Dob3D wrote in Discord.
Ok, after he was banning from Patreon i talk with him in Discord about that but i dont know he was vanished from Discord too so that is a new information for me. And accident happen but we dont know what happen . Thats life.
And that's the problem with these sites. Too many narcissistic, banal, jerkwads are allowed free reign to cajole and bully devs and the sites, simply to get their way. There should be an arbitration system that allows devs to know and confront their accusers. Currently, there's another game that's been put on hold by the dev who even explained why they had to do so and, even though it was not because of fan complaint (at least I hope that it wasn't), there's been a near vicious movement by less than a dozen people, to slap an abandoned tag on it. At least one of the cry babies has begun insulting the dev and another has begun to attack the game itself, which is a pretty good one I might add. Several of us with common sense have asked why should it matter and why is there such insistence to place an abandooned tag on it? Given that it has an "On Hold" tag on it, the hyenas could just move on to playing another game, which they probabaly have anyway.
As far as moving to another paysite, the dev may not have felt comfortable going to another one at the time. SS has just now gotten to be popular but not so much as when the dev abandoned the game. Then too, we don't know what else that may have been told to the dev that prevented them from doing so. We may never know and can only assume what's on the surface. Which is the problem with these cyberbullies in the first place.

When did you talk to him and is he still working on the new update for the game
Pretty sure he's getting some things mixed up here. I remember even the admins or good friends in the game's Discord couldn't reach the developer anymore, they got no response from him. There unfortunately never was a “sign of life” there or on Patreon from Dob3D after he disappeared out of the blue.

nope, i dont mixed things, like i wrote, after he was banned from Patreon i talk in Dicord a short time and than not again so i dont know was going from Discord , sorry if i wrote misunderstanding , thats life. He is not the first Developer which go without give a reason why he is going . Dead. illness, to much work or other reason i dont know so it is pity if a Developer go and not talk wiht his supporter why.

Simple, i was not regular in Dicord and so if i was in Discord i was in contact with other developer too but not longer with Dob3D ( he wrote not much news if i was in his channel )

It's dead Jim, no one will take iot over as they do not have any of the assets, know where the story was going or anything else. As for similar, ask in the recommendations thread.

Maybe someone should remake the game using the assets from the original release...
And how should that even be possible with Dob3d being mia since years? The models are quite customized, and without infos/help from the developer probably not that easy to redo.
