does seem like butcha-u wants to translate this into english as well.
not sure if that affects this project at all.

This is very interesting, I hadn't heard this. I will have to think about what to do, this may be cause for cancellation of the project... I don't want to take away business from butcha-u, that was why I set this up where you will need to purchase the game to play the patch. If he plans on selling his translation then I don't want people who have mine to not buy his.
I get that. Who knows what his plans are considering we don't have anything concrete yet. I would hate to see your hard work go to waste if the official translation never ends up happening but i guess we'll have to see.

I have some thoughts on what to do moving forward. I'll make an announcement this weekend. I'm not going to abandon the project, I just need to decide what option is best for the fans, butcha-u and myself. I know it's probably impossible to please everyone, but it doesn't hurt to try.

I have already stated in a few places that I don't want to take away business from butcha-u and that was why I set up my patch to require the game from a source other than myself. If Butcha-u plans on selling his translation then I don't want people who have mine to not buy his, but I also have put in plenty of work into this project and don't want it to go to waste.
Over the last few days I've been thinking about how to move forward and I've come up with 3 options (listed below) that could hopefully keep everyone happy, including Butcha-u.
I'm asking the fans to choose an option for how I should proceed for now. Also if any fans have a better Idea or thoughts they wish to share please feel free to tell me, my ears are open!
I will be posting this message and poll in a few locations for best results!
= Translate Chapters 1-3 (possibly some of 4) only
= Translate all story but leave out the Hentai/Gallery and Ending scenes
= Just keep translating like normal until Butcha-u does something concrete with his translation

Who knows how long it will be before something concrete comes along. Now if Jast or Mangagamer popped up with an announcement of a translation then sure calling it quits would make sense. But an official translation if it happens would be years away.
Agreed. Just look at the shitshow that was Sacrifice Villains. Not only did it takes an insane amount of time to come out, but it was by Shiravune too, which means censoring, botched standing CGs and lots of delays. I'd rather rely on what's concrete and what we can rely on getting today, rather than sitting around and waiting for something that might happen years down the line.
Agreed. I think you continue and pull your translation if he pulls through. No impact to his sales if it happens but a backup if not
great way to encourage someone smh.

The other project I'm working on is close to a big release (actual playable stuff) I'm trying to have it out before "spring break" in my area. Once that is done, I'll be taking a large break on that project to get the next major update ready for this project out ASAP. I don't want to get hopes up by providing a true ETA, but I hope this helps.
One question I do have is do you have a vague ETA for completion? I'm talking this year or next. That sort of thing.

"Root" is the top most folder containing the games files. (usually used in phone modding/unlocking terms)

Thanks it worked, now i only need to figure out how to make the english patch work because i did as told in the readme and it didn't translated anything XD.
