I'm convinced they're just openly trolling their community and testing how far can they get away with while laughing their asses off at their patrons. No way this will ever be finished.
Imagine its 2034 after they lose the last subscriber they suddenly drop the whole ass game and say they got to finish it back on update 11 but wanted to see how far they could keep the delays going

I'm convinced they're just openly trolling their community and testing how far can they get away with while laughing their asses off at their patrons. No way this will ever be finished.

It's clear in the beginning of the "rework" that they lost or fired their artist and coder, and have been patchworking some lame stopgaps with AI. I mean, the new artist got busted multiple times by pushing out images that had clear telltale signs of AI (extra fingers and shit).

I think somewhere along the line they realized they could get away with basically never updating the game and they'd still make a reasonable income. But I also think at some point they got cocky and just started to see how far they can push the subscribers. Or maybe they got annoyed with being called out for their lack of organization and updates.

Either way, the end result is almost definitely a troll, and you need only look at the content they have put out to realize that. Every update they push is Live2D shit from old content, or new images where the MC fucks an old women or a goddamn gremlin.

Or maybe the product they're now selling is some weird crowdfunding-edging kink. Like FinDom, but just as pathetic.

Hello, witches and wizards!
It’s been 10 days since the last news update, which means it’s time to share how the development of “Innocent Witches” is progressing at the moment. In this update, we’ll talk about progress, new additions, and plans for the near future!
Let’s start with the art preview (available in the next post). The artwork depicts a meeting between Marcus and Helena in an empty classroom. Helena sits on a desk in a provocative pose, her gaze full of playful challenge, and a slight smile hinting at a hidden meaning behind this encounter. She is clearly presenting herself, but to what end?
Marcus stands before her, fully aware of everything, but without any rush. The atmosphere in the classroom seems calm, with no tension between the characters.
The old wooden desks, scattered notes, and slight disarray create the feeling that time has stopped, allowing this scene to unfold away from prying eyes.
Now to the main news!

Over the past 10 days, we have been actively working on completing the remaining artwork and coding for the second chapter of the second act, as well as preparing a test build. It is expected to be ready by the end of this week or early next week.

At the same time, the text part of the third chapter of the second act is nearing completion. At the moment, about half of the texts have already been finalized and sent for translation, after which they will undergo editing. The remaining part is planned to be completed by the end of this week as well.

In previous news, we mentioned that the plan for patch 0.12B had already been drafted and partially put into development. This time, we would like to provide more details about the planned additions and what to expect in this update.

So, let’s start with the context. In patch 0.12A, two new chapters—second and third—will be added to the second act. They will cover both key story events and additional routes. These routes will help deepen character development and add a variety of side activities, making the immersion into the game world even richer.

Moreover, the events of the third chapter will finally allow players to establish closer interactions with the waifu. This will be implemented through the reintegration of existing scenes with each prefect from the old storyline, one per character. However, to maintain narrative consistency and ensure smooth immersion in the story, these scenes will not be fully presented in patch 0.12A. Their development will continue in the next update, 0.12B, allowing them to be organically incorporated into the overall narrative.

Therefore, each of the four scenes will receive full development and will be expanded in patch 0.12B. They will be updated so that they feel fresh and engaging even for those players who are familiar with them.

Updates will affect both the visual and interactive aspects. For example, new layers will be added, allowing additional hand and body positions, giving the scenes more variety and liveliness. Additionally, one of the scenes will receive a small but engaging mechanic that will naturally fit into the gameplay, making the interaction with the character even more immersive.

A completely reasonable question arises: why not add all these updates immediately to 0.12A?

The answer is simple—we are doing this based on the current realities of development. 0.12A has already been significantly delayed, and our main goal now is to complete it and release it as soon as possible. This will not only please you by allowing you to finally enjoy the new content but will also give the team a sense of completion for this part of the development journey.

Now let’s take a look at other events planned for 0.12B. To keep some intrigue and not reveal all the details, we will only hint at their content, leaving room for surprises and unexpected twists.

One of these events will be the continuation of activities in the abandoned bathroom. In 0.12A, during storyline interactions, Marcus will first encounter shady activities that some Hogwarts students are involved in. The player will have to find out who is behind their organization and establish contact.

In 0.12B, this storyline will develop further: the player will be able to delve deeper into what is happening, learn more about the essence of these activities, and, of course, get to know their mysterious organizer better.

Another part of 0.12B will be the reintegration of the puzzle mini-game related to Hermione. However, this won’t just be a copy of the existing event.

One of the main additions will be an alternative mode for solving the puzzle, which will be especially appreciated by those who are not fans of the classic sliding tile mechanic. Additionally, the mini-game will gain a new use—it will be utilized for interacting with magical Polaroid photographs.

Now, by completing the mini-game, you will be able to modify images, unlocking more spicy versions of the photos. This effect will work for most existing images and several new ones that will appear in 0.12B.

Finally, a fun event will be added to the game, which will surely delight all fans of the elf maid. Although it consists of only one action, it will contain plenty of humor and unexpected moments. This is a small yet memorable scene that will add some lightheartedness and variety to the game’s atmosphere.

Other than that, other small but enjoyable additions are planned, such as shortening the skirts for the prefects. All these elements will make 0.12B rich and diverse, adding new details to the game that definitely won’t go unnoticed.

Work on 0.12B has already partially begun, and as soon as we fully complete 0.12A, development on the next patch will go into full swing.

That’s all for today, friends! We truly appreciate you staying with us and supporting the development through your donations and feedback. Thank you so much!

We’ll meet again very soon in the next news update. Until then, take care and don’t forget to enjoy life!

Peace to everyone✌
Yours,
Sad Crabs.

And now, it’s time for a poll!

The topic we want to discuss has been brought up before, but considering the planned changes in the development process, we want to update our data on this matter.
How interactive do you want Innocent Witches to be? Do you prefer global mechanics, such as character progression and earning currency, which influence events throughout the game?
Or do you find isolated mechanics and short one-of-a-kind mini-games more interesting, such as solving the statue puzzle in one of the early chapters?
Or perhaps you don’t want to be distracted by such elements at all and prefer simply following the story, making choices that affect the narrative?
Let us know by voting or leaving a comment below!
1. I enjoy more interactive games with global mechanics.
2. I prefer isolated mini-games and mechanics used in specific events.
3. I would like the game to focus only on the story and choices that affect it.
4. I want to see the poll results.
