The premise of the game is very interesting—especially its sci-fi aspect—, and I’m curious to see where the murder mystery will lead.

However, I think the game suffers from an overcrowding of characters, which prevents them from being truly engaging. The ideas are there, but unfortunately, there isn’t enough time to develop them. As a result, many end up feeling similar to each other and a tad uninspired, especially since they seem to exist almost exclusively in function of the protagonist. Moreover, some characters fall into a sort of limbo, only to be magically pulled out of the hat later on.

I really hope future updates will give the large cast more room to breathe, because the rest works pretty well.

P.s.: Ashley best girl

I know that's your opinion and I don't plan to change your mind, but I think you're dead wrong.

Yes, the cast of characters is pretty big, but with the characters that are there KN does pretty well. They don't look monotonous like some other harem games. Not all of them have to be on screen all the time. Someone just has to fill in the empty space. And even those feel quite complete. Maybe it's a matter of taste.

I disagree about the overcrowded criticisme. Not the part where there is a lot of characters, there is, but about the part where they exist only for Jade and don't have a life outside of her. KN goes to great lengths to give them enough personality to stand on their own. I understand though that this threshold may vary for each reader. My argument though, I feel, is especially valid if you compare IU to other harem games with as much or even more LI but not necessarily in a vacuum. That feeling you have of everything revolving around Jade might also be due to what I consider a concession to player agency. Like for example Jade's relation to her school buddy and his wife. Giving the choice to Jade about how their relation proceed forward give the impression that everything revolve around the MC but without it players could not voice their preference to the game. It doesn't feel like something easy to balance though I'll give you that.

So, I recently started playing this (Ch10) and finding it quite enjoyable. I'm a bit puzzled, though.

Just spoken to Ashley for the first time, at Adam's house, and she says I (MC) spoke to Julie at a Spa.
Like, nah-ah, I've done no such thing, there's been no visit to a Spa.

Have I missed something during gameplay? Or was it a reference to removed/changed content?
