I understand that creative works sometimes require a bit of extra time, that's understandable. Given the quality of your work, I've given you the benefit of the doubt. Nevertheless, it's been a while. Those of us with skin in the game deserve some straight talk about progress and release dates.
So, what's going on?
You got all the answers in the linked/mentioned Patreon post.
Quality wasn't like I wanted it to be, so I re-rendered scenes multiple times, including rewriting the text.
The different paths take their time too (Alex, no Alex with Val, no Alex with Isa, Alex and Isa).
Apart from that, I had some personal matters to settle.
I never had and won't give release dates, unless I have a build to publish. Too much could go wrong, as I experienced with the hardware crash last year.
If there are important news, they will be published on Patreon and Steam and the according Discord channels.
But I agree (like I did on Discord):
I'm way behind my internal schedule.
doubt anyone wants to be flooded with "Special" Renders and a bunch of Text just to avoid the obvious, unfortunately he's not the only one going this Path
Anyone? Like someone who's posting in this thread the first time?
i can't tell how many people like the special renders, except for the likes they get. And I'm not talking about the likes here.
I've explained several times why I do them, like it or not.
Apart from that, the "seasonal renders" were artwork for the Steam sales. Yes, unbelievable, this guy makes some renders for marketing and spices them up for what could not be released on Steam.
So if you don't like them, fine.
Guess what?
There are a bunch of special renders ready. The idea was born on Discord.
But you don't need to check them
