Guys, this is certainly a strange question. Is anyone even planning their own project based on this game?
Thanks to the author of the topic, I more or less began to understand AI. I have some experience in programming in renpy. I personally write music and can create sounds, etc.
The downside is the language barrier... alas... And the lack of imagination in writing text for erotic scenes.

I can start making the basis for the game in the form of design, buttons, etc. But as I wrote above, I’ll stick to my disadvantages...
I would help with writing

If you're serious, I can handle the writing.
I can also help I am a former Erotica Writer and worked on a few books and got them published with my ex. So If you guys need help with that I am happy to oblige with editing.

I can write up some documentation of how we can build the game, what engines to use, and maybe find a developer willing to work as that is the key here. Team of five most likely.

That's a possibility. I'm a creative writer who's also computer saavy. There's someone else here who has experience with RenPy, RPG Maker and Unity. But we need artists.

I still don’t understand whether it’s possible to make a remake of KoD or not...
Remaking would be relatively easy -- but why remake a story that has already been told and illustrated by the original creators? (This isn't Disney :p)
A fan made game would need to continue the story from where the devs stopped or tell something different, like Sabias "Kelvin Timeline".
Generating some quick SD (or Daz) Renders is also pretty easy, but building and coding a whole game/vn with hundreds of consistent Images, and a good story is a completely different and very time consuming task (I tried .. ) -- there is a reason why so many games on this plattform get abandoned at an early stage.
If you wanted a KOD fan based game, you'd imho need a comitted team of three or more devs (art, code, story) that will spend around 4-8 hours per week on the project.

My thoughts would be to make Sabia kind of like her own kingdom, or we just do a big ole time jump. Actually have new characters, different part of the setting, remove the forest setting maybe somewhere more exotic or cold? The orc stuff is great but the problem was that almost all the best content for the game were at the very beginning and not much build up unforunately. And as you said it is very time consuming. Time is probably the biggest reason and why a game doesn't get off the ground.

First there would be a need for a great .1 version that gets everyones attention. And beyond what we've been seeing on here with some games. So solid story, good characters, great design, and interesting hook. I also think that we shouldn't continue the story, maybe two or three characters carry over... like everyones favorite elf :p who screams main character.

.. Actually have new characters, ...
Which is one of the Problems with AI generated content. We have a LORA that is trained on the existing characters and can generate images with these characters. Creating new and, most of all, consistent new characters and outfits isn't that easy.

Rather the other Elf (Kira). Branch off the main story with Sabia leaving the Orc camp and joining Kira's Bandits with Neve, Avion and some Orcs as they leave the known map (on a pirate ship?) to conquer the rest of the world? And of course, Sub-Sabia will have to take care of Kiras and Avions needs ..

Thanks for the answer. But this doesn’t scare me at all, I don’t see anything complicated in it... I just don’t know if it’s possible on this forum to use the original game from the creator and make a sequel based on it. Moreover, by the word remake, I suggested simply improving the quality of the existing images and sprites (in fact, that’s what I’ve already done), and on this basis continue the story of the game

I don't want to violate copyright

I would prefer CGI rather than AI art, because CGI can be animated (without creepy movements and other AI stuff) and it also provide you more scene control (camera angles, scenes/style consistensy, lighting, materials, physic related stuff like cloth simulation). But it just a dream)
