I guess that depends on the culture... like many slavic people calling even unrelated women "auntie" or "grandmommy" just based on their age or appearance.
While where i live, i don't know anyone older than ~12 still calling their parents "mommy and daddy". It's just part of becoming an adult to see your parents as individuals, rather than their roles as singularities or institutions. So you eventually start calling them by their names like everyone else does. Start treating each other on eye level.

I have a problem with Ren Py games. I don't know what the reason is. I tried many solutions but couldn't solve it. The problem is that when I start the game, it works and I can play for a while, then the game closes. I don't know what the reason is, but all my Ren Py games have the same problem. Please help.
At first I supported it, but the production was too long and the content too low with each update. But now I see that it teases too much.

Seems simply tedious and uninteresting to play.
The sandbox navigation is a chore, mostly you just check the questlog and skip forward in daytime.
Do this in the afternoon, do that in the afternoon, visit the brothel three times at night (eeew).
Doesn't feel like you're actually exploring or experiencing anything yourself, you're just following the script.
Unlocking new content seems to be gated behind seeing all other content first, so why is it even a sandbox format?
The aunt or whoever it was just shamelessly whoring herself out to the "shota MC" made the whole thing even less interesting. A woman getting naked and shoving her tits in your face is exactly NOT how erotic attraction works.

So to clarify, because most of the posts around it are from 2022 and it's been an eternity since I've checked in on this game, are there any scenes like the one Catherine had that was changed? I noped out when I got to it back in 0.1.0. I get love interests not being virgins, but I don't want to see/hear about them being promiscuous.
If NTR is your concern, then no, there's no NTR in the game. The game is clean.

Shocking a MC into being humble & tough isn't very fun to read. Watching the journey is much more interesting. To watch the growth from a whiny teenager into a capable man. Especially if the player chooses how the MC navigates the world. Choice matters. And removing that choice creates a conflict of a character. The character that exists during the story & the character that exists when a choice is presented.
I will bow out until the game is finished. I'll see how others perceived the story to see it I should dive in again.
