I like the fact that dev is mostly adjusting the models so they are not the same out of box characters we have seen 100 times before. Although something does slightly appear off with one of the girl's head/eyes. Very large, insect-like? I am not sure. [...] I can probably get used to it. I guess I am so conditioned to seeing the exact same models in every game that it is startling (but good) to get something new.
Well, I guess the alien eyes are really intentional... for some reason. What concerns me more is whether Fang has a serious health problem with her liver. I'm a little worried about that.

Wow this game is really something. Characters are varied and adorable, writting is smooth, puzzles are not boring and ani quality is too high(when say too high my poor laptop means it:HideThePain:). Looking forward to the update!

How do I turn off that obnoxious, meme "alarm" sound that play on every damn scene?

EDIT: Found it. It's "shock.mp3" under the audio folder. But maybe as constructive feedback for the dev: Please add an option in the settings to disable the sound effects entirely. I can't be the only one who finds them distracting and irritating.

Did moving the sound volume slider to off not disable all sounds?

I play with no sounds, so have no idea what alarm you mean  Given that this is an obvious solution, I presume you mean just sounds, so still having music?

Hey everyone,
Quite a big update today, so buckle up!
After a somewhat unusual week off, spending time with the family and where my focus was exclusively on the secret project, I finally returned to intensive 3D work.

Taking a few days off always boosts my creativity, reminding me of skills I sometimes overlook. I immediately put this fresh energy into good use by adding a romantic/LEWD scene at the end of Day 4, right after the major event. It felt essential, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. I've even begun rendering animations already, testing some new settings.
Currently, I'm working on Day 5—more specifically, the last major scene. After my break, I felt incredibly energized, kicking off the week strong. I decided to pause work on the secret project for this week, having made significant progress while my family visited. By Friday night, I'd already produced 211 renders, and I knew Saturday was going to be even more productive.

Here's the thing: every two weeks or so, a few dev friends and I have a friendly challenge called the "Bum Off," where we compete to see who creates the most content in 24 hours. Typically, I work about 16 hours, maintaining rest as part of my routine to sustain a steady work ethic.

However, this past Saturday, I went all in—working nearly the entire 24 hours, with just a brief nap in between. I spent around 22 hours in a VC on discord working on Day 5 scenes until I literally ran out of scripted content right at the 24-hour mark (perfect scripting timing, lol). Thanks to the people that were there and helped me go through this intense day.
In one intense sitting, I created 186 renders, which felt amazing! It reminded me of my early days working on The Entrepreneur, pushing hard—though back then I was far less efficient. The nostalgia made me briefly feel like my younger, machine-like self again.

But reality hit hard on Sunday morning after only two hours of sleep—I couldn't create a single render or write any substantial script that day. That's why today's dev update comes a bit earlier than usual—I'm still out of script!
Lesson learned: Growing older really is a thing!

All this leads me to say: we're officially in crunch phase as we approach the final two months of raw content creation. By mid-May, I anticipate completing this phase and soon after moving into post-production.
What's also helping is the secret project's progress—it's about 80% done and should be finished within the next two weeks. Once that's off my plate, Episode 3 development will pick up even more.

Now, let's talk numbers:
2,184 static story images
63 animations
35 fully written scenes

That's 396 new renders since the last update—all achieved in a single week. Between the 396 renders in a week, the 186 renders in a single day, and Day 4's massive total of 757 renders, I've broken three personal records this week alone. Time to pop the champagne!
I'm genuinely happy with our current progress. Entering the crunch phase with high standards isn't a bad thing at all. Episode 3 is already nearly as big as Episode 2, and we're only three and a half months into development, so this push is necessary.

I also wanted to share something interesting:
Here's my progress-tracking document for Episode 3. As you can see, we've crossed the 50% mark and are currently tackling the final major scene. Once this scene is complete, we'll be around 70% finished with raw content for Episode 3. Day 5 concludes with another LEWD scene (I'm definitely spoiling you guys this episode), and my goal is to complete all of this by the end of March.

Law School’s pacing is finally aligning perfectly with my vision. The final four days (Days 6 through 9) will be faster-paced, packed with events. Episode 3 also marks the end of Season 1, so I'm carefully tying up loose ends and laying the groundwork for next season.

That's all for today's substantial update! I'm now fully recharged and ready to dive back into scripting.
If you've read this far, enjoy this image of Samara in the rain!
I'm getting back to work now—wishing you all an excellent week ahead.

I love to see it, MisterMaya, you are a very produtive dev (I can't help but compare to another thread with two devs who produce 1/3 to 1/2 the number of renders you produce in a week) and you're doing great work. However, as you sort of allude to in this dev update, just make sure to take some time for yourself as well, you don't want to burn yourself out!
