To me my biggest turn off of this franchise is the beastiality content.

Legend of Queen Opala I (A classic of NSFW games, one of the OGs, it's rather simple and quick to finish the main story, the post game is kinda big tho)
Legend of Queen Opala II (This game is long and the traveling system a bit of a mess, but I remember the story is a lot more fleshed out, if LOQOI is basically a porn film plot, LOQOII is a more 'usual' nsfw game, where it is an actual story with nsfw scenes sprinkled in.)
And finally Origin.
keep in mind tho, nsfw scenes are not that common in the series, it happens, don't get me wrong, but a lot of the porn are the images of the collectables.

Here's this week's update! SethXZoe has been fired! Looks like I'm done with this game! Feels a little ironic that Gabe says all this about him while giving us ridiculous updates, having no main story progression for god knows how long, and not finishing the game for several years! What a joke.

Yep the game died today, and surprise surprise no main story progression once again to end 2024, there's no fucking point anymore. I'll always remember it for the engaging story and incredible art style that is SethXZoe's and despite everything, it's still my favorite H-Game. I'm probably just done posting in here unless there's an interesting blog post or something, maybe when the new art style is revealed I'll talk about it. Best of luck to whoever is replacing Seth, they have some massive shoes to fill.
I can say, as an artist myself... nothing kills an artist interest as a worker faster than the lack of a clear deadline of a project.
It might sound like throwing the whole fault at gabe, and i am sure there is more to the story, but it is true, working for a project from a different creator on a 'comission' basis, as gabe was probably only paying him for each drawing, not having him on a payroll, does awaken the understandable fears of the artist of: 'for how long will i have to work on this project? can i start other projects? i need to work in various project at a time, and normally it's fine, but what if all of them ask me stuff for the same time? is it okay if i take a break? I haven't been given new directions for the project for weeks, does it mean i should be looking for another job? how many years will i be working under this conditions?"
I can attest, any artist you work with either will want some form of creative control (at least artistically) to call the project 'his own' too, or will ask for a clear deadline so he can make a plan for himself.
The 'you work for me, but only occasionally and you have to drop everything for my commissions and i ask you for maybe three or four drawing a year, but you must keep your heads up for when I call' doesn't fucking work unless you pay a LOT per piece to justify the uncertainty of the job. ('but it's only one or two drawings per year' yeah, and that's the issue, if the work amount was consistent this would, ironically, be handled better by the artist.)
I don't blame SethXZoe with what has been said if the issue is 'not answering calls is unprofessional' after he has been working in this project for what? seven years? a professional worker doesn't get 'unprofessional' magically out of nowhere, you need to burn him.
In other words... HAVE A CLEAR OUTLINE OF DATES! if the deadlines are set, it doesn't matter if it last a little longer or you need a bit more time, the workers will have a better pace because they'll see a light at the end of the tunnel even when they don't find motivation.

You're absolutely right, thank you for the insight as well, I can imagine it was frustrating for Seth as well, and I hope we get to see him on another game that has a more consistent schedule and clear outline. I myself would love to commission him for personal art, so hopefully this will finally be my chance. I highly doubt the man would just ghost Gabe for literally 0 reason, especially after being on this project for soooo long.

Lol so much drama over the artist. Visual works are boring anyways, there's video and artistic porn anywhere, for free. A game is appealing for a story around the art. It's the writing that matters. That said, did anyone consider that maybe the lack of updates, was because the game has so much focus on the art that it couldn't progress without that art in place? Maybe all those complaints over slow progression of the game come from the artist not following through..?
Personally, with zero interest in the visual side of things, I'd have been fine with a stick figure placeholder as long as it was -written- well. So far, I've kinda enjoyed the written context of each scene, and would even prefer more written detail in the scenes instead of a particular artist...

nah, SethxZoe is only 1 of the 4 artstyles, and is not as if they all need to be up to date for an update to come along, in fact they virtually never have been all in the same rate of development. Seth is not, in any way, responsible for the problems in updates, because the updates have been coming, just that they are not based on the story.
Personally, the loss with Seth is not a dealbreaker for me, as you said, i too prefer the story, just saying that the falling down seems like another error in the way Gabe handles the production.

So, Gabe is still trying to put together what's already broken and should be thrown in the darkest corner as an unwanted failure. Damn, he/she should just end this with some rushed ending and find something better to offer (or now). Trying to "finish" this game looks like turning a knife in fanbase's wound.
Good thing I stopped care (and support) in 2019, feels like BS crushing, but much longer in time and with more dramas. )

Well, Sethxzoe is completely MIA on socials, the place where you'd find him so there isn't going to be a second side of the story here.

well lest we can still play what we have for the art. it's true they hired good artist just to let them go at this point. hen what ia the point in making the game with missing artist bad form old chap. if i was hook they would be walking the plank to bad those day's are gone lol. i will still keep an eye on this forum but if there losing ther ret and there site on the game i feel sorry for them guess money went to there heads.
