I'm reminded of a story where someone is building a boat and listens to the "advice" of others on how to build it, and the boat promptly sinks
I don’t want to say listening to fan feedback is wrong but it should be limited to just expanding the original theme of the game.

This reminds me of another game that screwed itself trying to cater to non fans. There's a lesbian game with an interesting premise but a vocal minority wanted the dev to add a male protagonist. She also listened to them and updates have damn near died. I think there's been like 1 update in the past two+ year to accommodate adding the guy when things were going pretty smooth previously.

ok, so i have been off experimenting with some of the Ai's I saw some of you talk about, and as a self proclaimed hobbyist writer. I will say I was against it, but then I remembered something I struggled with in my writing. Dialogue, I wanted to see if I could use it to help train me into writing more believable and good dialogue. I didn't expect to have it make anything good but it ended up getting away from me. It needs some cleaning up but meh. In short maybe Ai isn't so bad.

You are far better off reading books than AI scripts if you wanna train, especially when it comes to dialogue. All an AI knows to do is chew up data and spit out the most generic version of it; even at its best, all it does is mimic and replicate. It has no idea in mind for your world or characters because it doesn't have a mind. It can't think what a character would authentically say in a situation because it can't embody a character or empathize with it because it has no damn mirror neurons.

Not to pretend as if it gives me any more authority on the matter than it does you, but I do write for a living. And, at every step of its evolution, I have seen attempts to integrate AI at every part of the process; hell, I even tried to do it myself. And you know what I discovered? That you can't even trust it to check your grammar. Sure, it will fix your spelling and all that, but it will also butcher every dramatic pose or poetic prose for the sake of "optimum clarity." All AI did to the industry is result in a mass wave of firings and than immediate rehirings when even the suits realized how useless it is creatively. That, and now, every other writing gig is some twat begging you to "humanize" their AI manuscript.

I will finish by saying that I have genuinely never liked anything written by an AI. If you want to prove me wrong, you are welcome to send the AI dungeon link again (it seemed to have expired or something of the sort). I know it doesn't mean a lot on the internet, but I promise I will be honest. Or better yet, send me your own writing, and I will give you some constructive feedback.

It's been years since I played. You know how I said we had to wait years for the new update. Well we had to wait years before that for the previous update and it was just adding the guy mc so I had no reason to download at that time so I've forgotten the name. I'll look on Itch to see if I can find it tho.

Was it this?

The bit about a mal protag being introduced and removed sounded familiar.

As far as I remember that was a different case, if I remember correctly when that game came out it had the option to play as a man or a woman.

But in its next version by vote it was decided to make it a purely lesbian game.
Zero ratings... is it that bad?
it's not that bad, it comes out this way because no one has bothered to review it.

although when I played it the engine change made it very bad, it was very buggy and the text was very small but I don't know how it will be now.

Nope. It had supernatural elements and I believe the mc was investigating her gf's disappearance/death.

I did hear see this one. Why is it that the few instances we get a lesbian game someone always try to insert a guy into the mix? It's extremely annoying especially since most of these games already focus on a guy.

That SunLeaf game says it's lesbian, so I'm gonna give it a try, see if it is pure lesbian
It is, but it's not great.
The UI is outdated, the engine for captres too, and the story is very meh.

Also, all videos are already unpacked, so you can have an idea of how much content there is ingame and the quality of it (meaning not much, and not very good).

One to keep an eye on is Edgefield. Seems that all the romances are optional and you can choose a male or female MC, so it would be possible to do an all-lesbian play, though not confirmed yet.
Apparently there is no lesbian content? Doesn't seem to be gay content either, so I guess FMC can only date female characters and vice versa. I haven't played it so i wouldn't know, but homosexual tags are missing nonetheless.

There's defo lesbian content. It's still early in development but there is already one lesbian sex scene. Dev also confirmed you can have a lesbian/gay only play-through.

Gender is choosable and orientation. Straight, gay, lesbian, bi, trans and straight to gay and vice versa.
