Recently, it's got to a similar stage where in both paths; Sensei doesn't want to violate her. This, at best, gives Green Path Io some hope. (While for Red Path Io, he already chose not to. Now, he's chosen not to, twice. Further cementing who he is to her.)

However, if/when Sensei blacks out on her, or simply reaches his limit, Red Path Io will have reason to believe that he's truly not being himself. It's not entirely his fault. He isn't like that. He's already proved it.

On the other hand, Green Path Io will have reason to believe that of course he was all talk. He's just like the rest and he's only going to make excuses and black out, if she doesn't force herself to spread her legs to keep him around.

Well this depend on the writer view. I could take that the red path after denying 2 times Io if he black out and rape her she could break permanently after thinking that the man could be an angel lied to her betraying her trust and ended using her.

Meanwhile the green path knows that Sensei desire her but he rejected her once because didnt want to feel like taking advantege of her so if he black out saying nonsense she could know that something is wrong

I doubt there'll ever be a mod for that, there's main events that need certain Happy scenes done to be triggered. Some of them are rather important to the story and in understanding the world/Sensei's past.

So yeah, if you don't have the tolerance for it I guess you'll just have to pass lol

This brings up something on my mind about Io’s red path: the current positivity there in red path is so much that I really cannot neglect it and directly claim that “green is still the path to eventual happiness for Io”. When people were praising green path Sensei for rejecting Io’s handjob, I kept thinking that 1) this merely means the merging of the two paths that subsequently reduces the impact of the Stomachache choice on their relationship, and 2) like you mentioned, hasn’t this difficult decision already been achieved by red path Sensei in a much larger scale a lot earlier??? This only proves that there is still hope for green path Sensei; this doesn’t automatically mean red path Sensei did anything wrong.

Granted, the mutual understanding and consensus made between Io and Sensei in these two paths are indeed significantly different; green path seems to offer higher chances of future consenting Io sex while red path kinda just embraces Io’s displayed asexuality. But that’s it. The potential lack of future consenting sex (which may not be true by the way) by itself in the red path is by no means something damning. What might be damning instead is in fact: 1) current Sensei will not be able to handle an asexual relationship, and 2) Selly might “punish” red path players with possibly blackout sex or other horrible things.

To me, reason1 is thinking way too far ahead while ignoring the remaining Sensei x Io journey that has yet to unveil, and reason2 is literally something we imagine to convince ourselves and scare everyone else who didn’t make the same choice as us (seriously, have we ever become good at predicting Sensei’s blackout sexual assault even?). Since there really isn’t any in-game indicator that implies the possibility of any planned misfortune for red path Io (an example of this would be “Pareidolia murmuring about punishing akira for disobeying the destroy her command”), I will continue to remain brazen until the day something does happen all because Sensei didn’t Stomachache Io or when Selly does dish out punishment; only then will I shit my pants and change my mind.



I said all that but I’m actually on green path But not because I think green would be better (in all definitions) for Sensei x Io in a long run, but because I simply fucking refuse to miss content.

Stomachache is a fantastical, extreme depiction of two traumatized people sharing the absolute blackest pits of themselves with each other. Were it in real life, it would be a marathon of tears, old pictures, news articles and stories of every betrayal and disappointment they ever experienced. The night would end like passing out in a sauna filled with guilt and self-loathing. Sound familiar?

I'm actually tired of these Red path activists, you're not doing anybody any favors.
When you choose the wrong option, you're just closing your eyes, you're not being a good person and you're not helping anybody, it's only taking the easy road for a small moment where you can feel yourself being on the moral highground.

When you play the game, you need to think of it as an electrical panel. You have to make sure that every connector is on and that the power distribution is correctly synced with the circuits, ONE small deviation is all it takes for the light to never come back.

To everybody that doesn't want to see stomachache, you're a pussy. You're actually hurting her more than you're "helping" and if you got this far into the game and you didn't realize it, maybe you shouldn't be playing to begin with.

I'd like to put it out there that I'm not a red path activist, I'm just commenting on my experiences with the event.
I've said multiple times that red route is not the correct way to play, the game makes that very clear from the start.
I also agree with Bingoogus' sentiment that all you're doing is leading her to a false sense of security, she's gonna get hurt a lot no matter what anyway.

Im not sure why you think we're shilling it, or if Im part of it, but I haven't noticed any push towards it being the right way to play. It's not.

No, as others have said it's a filter event, the game is based on these so if you can't stomach it, I'd recommend moving on.

hey yall, sorry if this has been asked before. but is there any way - not the in-game cheat code - but via a mod or something, to UNDO the decision to have fucked ami in the beginning, later in the game?

Just looking for someone who knows if this is technically possible or not. I'm heavily invested into the game and appreciate its art direction, and i'm nearly caught up, but i don't want to auto-skip through 10000 hours of gameplay when i just want to change this one decision for a second go. I want to start from somewhere halfway with this decision changed.

I'm heavily invested into the game and appreciate its art direction, and i'm nearly caught up, but i don't want to auto-skip through 10000 hours of gameplay when i just want to change this one decision for a second go. Here's the thing, the actual decision to flip what the dialogue shows is simple af. amifingered = false and ami_virgin = true. If you just want to see alternate dialogue those two should give you everything you need.

But you're playing with a ticking time bomb if you try to cheat this midway through the game. Events are flagged as missing when they were implemented, so randomly in the code often in the events for other people, and in your case you'll have flags that say you haven't fucked ami but have seen events that require you to have fucked ami. This could be detected at any point Sel wants, and you'd just take whatever punishment he feels is right. None of us would even argue he'd be going too far, unlike making a cheat menu and then punishing you for using it. If something ever went wrong for doing this we'd have to remember you did this and not give you any help because of course things will break like this.

Just get URM, there's a link in Bingoogus's signature. You can use it to edit flags if you must, but what's probably the better option is viewing said events in replays. URM would let you see all potential dialogue choices, and if you're watching events in replays it should default to not fucking Ami outside of amifingered specific events.

you can universal renpy mod i guess. But i don't know which variable you need to change. Prabably ami_sex or something like that.
