There's probably one or two others.

One game was in the works but got cancelled (not abandoned) and it's hard to get a copy of the alpha build. It was an "isekai" where the MC had to mostly work at a local tavern but you were supposed to be able to do non-combat quests for the guild eventually.

I wrote a review a couple of days ago, but I also wanted to add a more opinionated based idea and change that wouldn't necessarily be good for a review of the content it has now since it is about changing content in the game right now which might be not what the dev envisions but I thought I should put it out there in case it could help the dev or it is actually good idea that the dev might like. So I will just throw out an idea I thought of.

One thing I think might be a good idea to change is to get rid of the change rest of the family besides the dad since it is just the start of the game it wouldn't be that hard to do this either. There is a few reasons for this:

1 - Patreon might try to take down your game because of the incest implications and only having a dad that can easily be misconstrued as a landlord that is forcing you to pay, move out or share a room with him or the other renters can get by rather than a full family. Another reason this might be a safeguard for patreon is the twins and how they look, patreon is very trigger happy with taking down games and having characters that may look young or even shota like might be an easy target for them. They have taken down games for less.

2 - Besides patreon protection, you would still have the family connection with the father who actually has motivations to fuck her since the wife died and she looks like her and their money situation to keep her out of the war etc. Along with that though you could move in other characters into the rooms of the home to get different types of characters that could corrupt the mc, some examples of different types of characters you could move in are perhaps and old fat man for an ugly bastard route, a black man to maybe have a bbc/snowbunny route, or maybe even a boyfriend/love interest character. There are 3 rooms and those are just 3 of the many options you could take while still keeping the family dynamic with the father and it would still make since because they are in a tight money situation and renting out rooms is a decent idea for them.

Thank you for your concern. However, the game clearly specifies that Gregory is more like a landlord. It also turns out that he was your late mother's former partner, but he isn't family, nor are his sons. Angel has lived with them since she was a child, but that doesn't make them family in the traditional sense.

Regarding the twins, they are one year younger than Angel. Although they may appear somewhat younger, they are 18, not 25+. You might be basing your perception on the picture of their room, but they are almost as tall as Angel, and despite their youth, they certainly don’t appear to be under 16. Once again, thank you for your concern.

There will be other characters in the game attempting to influence Angel, but we prefer that they don’t live under the same roof as her.

Off to a good start. Here are a few bugs I encountered (didn’t check if others have mentioned them):

• When you take the subway after the first shift at the bar, it deducts $2 as expected, but shows a $10 "pop-up".
• The next morning, if you wait until Gregory is done to take a shower, it increases your stress by 20 but shows a -30 pop-up.
• If you have no money at the start of a day (e.g. after paying what you can for rent and coming up short), you can go into the negatives going to school. You then get the option to sneak into the subway, but doing so causes an error ("Sayer 'Frisson' is not defined") - which you can ignore to proceed to the bar.
• Not a bug, but the skill description for locks is really unclear for first-time players. It sounds like it will be more costly for you to jam locks, which doesn’t sound like something you would want to do nor spend more actions to do. "You can lock doors one more time before the lock jams" would be much clearer.

Also, one thing that wasn’t clear: does choosing the Wait option at a table count for spending time with the customers and improving tips? Or do you have to keep clicking the table you’re already at?

Yes, whether you're waiting at the table or clicking on it, both actions count as being present, which increases the table's happiness and, in turn, boosts your tips. However, if you're in a rude mood, it will lower their arousal and happiness, resulting in fewer tips.

It also turns out that he was your late mother's former partner, but he isn't family, nor are his sons. Angel has lived with them since she was a child, but that doesn't make them family in the traditional sense.

You might be basing your perception on the picture of their room, but they are almost as tall as Angel, and despite their youth, they certainly don’t appear to be under 16. You can avoid the gropers by paying for a cab or waiting for a few more trains, though this might make you late. A new mechanic could be added to help you stay on time without paying so much, but it might cost you something else—like leaving early or using the free time to nap or study.
