First Thing I do is find an Auto Dealer and Buy a cheep car.
Then decide if you want to go to college or get a job.

Then look for a location near a strip joint. You can make a $100 an hour as a stripper.
Get a house near one. You can move out later. Click on house an arrange for a viewing.
Read the other tutorials I gave you first. I would not join a frat/sorority unless you going to open a business.
Concentrate on earning perks.
just get a home and get a bunch of prostitutes to earn the Perfect date perk.

Though there are ways to go without college or going the vanilla job route - involving pimping/prostitution and porn. If you get decent porn fame, you can feature dance at the strip club, which pays way more than regular stripping. I never go the vanilla job route. Note unless you use the "randomize buildings" feature when you start a city, it's very unlikely there will even BE a strip club.

Usualy when I have seen this happen its because of the default city(London). Download and instal a smaller place, no idea on other countrys but uk,"Bath","Lincoln" are both a lot smaller.

Some are bigger, like certain US cities (Chicago and even Pittsburgh, which isn't near as big as London.) Reading, PA (my nearest city) is very quick, but you'll definitely need to randomize some buildings. Don't ever randomize too many. I don't use vanilla jobs so I always make work 0% but total home, leisure and shopping is no more than 2%. Usually real city size is related to how long it takes/how likely to crash a less capable setup. You need to randomize almost always anyway as almost no cities have all types of business - especially strip club, brothel and beauty.

Future suggestion: after murdering the mob boss could there be an option to replace them (depending on stats/relationship with the mafia) or else they are replaced by another criminal, with one of the mafia jobs also being to recruit people so that the gang doesn't die out?
I murdered my mafia boss but it didn't change anything, the mafia boss was simply invisible.

Sound like someones next Mod to me? Vinfamy doesnt tend to do these things as he is working on new features mostly, So your only real hope is a modder. Unfortunatly with the amount of mods I am currently making and my avalable time, it wont be me. But who knows somebody may pick it up as it could be interesting and it is underdeveloped.

nice to know, seems difficult to get feedback on here. So to be honest I thought it might be a little too sim's and was considering leaving it under developed, to work on the other mods. Will add the full familiar code in as soon as I can.

This has the same problem as Skyrim where there's something very wrong with women's shoulders but I don't know how I'd fix it.

It's down to rigging, bone weighting and polly count. Unless you are an extremly skilled 3D modeler, you couldn't. Maybe in a few years time when computers are more powerfull this will be better. For now its grin and bear it im afraid, Although they could be smoothed to reduce things like this, time+effort=little reward, and you may just end up making other animations worst.
