I've heard that if you finish the game and start it again from the beginning, you can unlock some new content. If I select "New Game Plus" from the screen below, will I be able to see this extra content? If so, would you recommend doing that? Or should I experience the game without the extra content first? How much do the extra content and changes affect the story? And most importantly, does the walkthrough in the first message include what needs to be done for the extra content? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I just wanted to be sure. Sorry about that.

New Game plus is indeed the selection you want for the extra content. The extra content is all about Sister Agnes. She appears in the regular game in a cameo, but in NG+ she's a full fledged potential love interest. That's it, there is no other extra content in NG+ beyond Sister Agnes.

NG+ also means you start out the game with your character already leveled up (improved stats and some spells/skills already learned). Because so much of the early to mid game is about leveling up your character, the walkthrough (which assumes you are playing a regular game) will be dramatically less helpful for NG+.

Unless you don't plan to play the game more than once, I recommend you play a regular game the first time and choose NG+ for your second run.

I started NG+ and none of my stats are upgraded, probably because I hadn't actually finished the game before. Initially, I launched the game normally, and it asked me a question like, "Do you want to be teleported directly to the end and consider the game completed?" I said yes, and then I started NG+. But so far, everything seems fine; I'm gradually upgrading all the stats.

I've never played with the cheat program installed, so I didn't know if it gives you the stat upgrades or not when you do that.

However, you should have at least one upgrade - AFAIK, you always get the three free spells that normally you'd have to learn in the library's writing room, even if you never learned them in the normal game.

For this game the step by step is a nightmare that confuses far, far more than it helps

It worked perfectly for me, though I had to go back and read a missed thing also (I doubt anyone is going to do that for person asking... just reread).
I've seen many people saying the PDF walkthrough is not helpful at all, but I used it and got all the endings. Maybe some of it is written that can be taken 2 ways and I happened to take the right way. Not sure, but it worked for me too.

Others have already pointed out the folly of trying to follow the PDF walkthrough step by step. I will just answer your question. You probably did not read about the symbol you found in the library. This game is a lot like the series Buffy the Vampire slayer - when in doubt, always go to the library to see if you can research the latest plot point.

Here's how to get all the clues for Evelyn's large secret:
1. succeed in following her at night (requires agility 3), learn about the basement room.
2. search the basement, find a thing with a symbol on it
3. read up on the symbol at the library

The fact that people following the thing always say what day they are on is absolute proof that they have no idea how the game works or is supposed to be played.

Long Live the Princess cheat mod (and gallery unlocker)

Updated Juli 5, 2023

Added a new cheat mod including a gallery unlocker where you can choose who you want to unlock, instead of all just being unlocked.

The gallery unlocker is used from the cheat menu at the MC's house, not directly in the gallery itself.

Version 1.0.1 [Completed]

If you want something added to the cheat mod, I will look into it and see if it's possible to add.

The cheat mod and the gallery unlocker are compatible with old saves.

On Day 27 Saturday Afternoon, Immediately after revealing Evelyn's dark secret, I saved then used your cheat to increase Courage from 3 to 4. After that I played through the next few dialogs but then I decided that I wanted to restart it at the same save to try something different. I loaded the save, then tried to cheat the Courage to 4 again, but now it won't let me.
After some troubleshooting, I found that the cheat mod has a glitch. If I change an ability value once, I can't go back and change it again... until I make a change on another ability. At that point the second ability can then be returned to original value if no change is needed. After manipulating that second ability, the first ability value can now be adjusted again.

I've tried to replicate the situation you've mentioned, but I don't get any issues? I can change the any stat I want at any time no matter if I reloaded a previous save where I just changed f.ex. courage stat I can do so again in the save?

I don't know then, but it isn't a problem because I can work around it as I described.
Thank you anyway.

Long Live the Princess Walkthrough/guide and a guide for Primrose's stats

If you find any errors or have constructive suggestions to improve the usability of this walkthrough/guide, please let me know.

Version 1.0.1 [Completed]
Hi, and thank you so much for the guide. I probably would never have the patience to work my way through this VN without help.
I have run into a problem, however.
On Day 40 Afternoon, I go to the Fey Court, select About your visions… → [either one, Impregnation... or Two people...]
Next: Replace “male” with “female” → Replace “ejaculate” with “appear” → Replace “coupling” with “child” → Suggest the current …
Belle says this is the correct interpretation.
Next, select the clue: Nell is part fey
For the next clue the guide says to select "Nell is the Fairy Queen’s daughter", but that is not available in the matrix.
I tried selecting other clues from the matrix, but nothing works... the queen shoots them all down.
I reviewed the walkthrough entries previous to Day 40 (in case I missed something), and I find no reference to obtaining that clue.

After you beat Samarra in the final duel, go back to her tent and "Talk about Samarra" until you have exhausted all of her dialogue options.

Thank you for that.
Starting from a save I had on Day 37 Morning, I did Probe Memory on Lilith, then went to Samarra's tent and Talked to Samarra one time to get the clue about Nells mother. Easy Peasy.
The author of the walkthrough must have had one too few "Talk to Samarra" at one point. Either that or I missed one... anything is possible especially with my 71 year old brain and short term memory LOL.

I'm pretty sure every "talk about Samarra" is in there, if I'm not misremembering there is a point where you spam her a few times in a row (y)
