People are more than welcome to use walkthroughs if they so choose, as some are only looking to experience the "best" ending possible. Almost any game that has a sizable following will inevitably fall prey to the community optimizing/strategizing the hell out of it. In general this can often be seen as beneficial for ongoing projects as devs can take the opportunity to fix critical bugs or better flesh out story paths.

Some VN games do rely on time sensitive choices and can very easily cause a player to be locked on a "bad" path (I've had this happen once or twice so far). However, LLtP has taken the approach of notifying the player almost immediately of what's required for a good ending as well as giving the player an unlimited amount of time to prepare. It's an example of a game where the dev has done a phenomenal job in fleshing out both the story and gameplay.

I merely mentioned something that tend to happen when people blindly follow them without trying to figure it out first. Yes, people can use guides, I've done it myself. I'm just think it's a crying shame some people would rather rush through following the "right anwers" without reading what's in between, aside from sex scenes, especially when they then post about how some event happens out of nowhere because they didn't paid any attention to the events unfolding.
I'm not saying using them is disrespectfull to the devs, I'm saying using them to bumrush the story and not pay attention to anything but the porn is ddisrespectfull to the devs.

This discussion of walkthroughs caught my eye as I just completed a WT for Callisto, another well written virtual novel free-roaming (or part sandbox) game. The issue is that many first time players of games that let you 'wander through their universe' and experience events in random or varied sequence get lost and frustrated. They get the 'where do I go next to advance the plot' feeling that they're getting nowhere. This is especially true if they're a computer neophyte who is still learning 'which buttons do I push to save a game'.

LltP walk through was a 'hold my hand' type of WT which, for the most part, served a good purpose getting into the game's universe. Later, by missing a clue or two, it sabotaged those who 'just want to walk the shortest path' through the story and win (whether for fapping or not).

To solve that from happening in Callisto, my WT just hand holds the MC through the first 2 weeks of the game action, solves the first (possibly most confusing and difficult) puzzle and sets him up for the first Mission. Then it lets him go on by himself. By then, he's familiar with the game behavior and got a feel for the Callisto Universe. There are other help screens in the game so he's not abandoned but he is on his own from that point. It is not a perfect solution but it helps in complex games like LltP and Callisto IMHO for getting players started and 'off on the right foot.'

im just asking this out of curiosity, but when do you guys think that this game will be completed? cause im interested to play this game and as i know, the main story is almost complete. there is only the side quest remain. so if the game will be completed soon, im probably wait for that instead.

I am trying to tie up the loose ends before I initiate the finality of the first part of before I start a +game and the few quests I have left that I cannot find any info on here is 1. Solve the Crone's Dark Secret, 2. Help Callie explore her new sexuality, and 3. Wait for Belle to find a way to copy the Shrink Scroll.
I have spent weeks in-game trying everything I can think of during that time and am stuck on those three.
Assistance would be greatly helpful thank you.

This is mighty confusing, The last time I played through this, I had a VASTLY different ending, and had to make one of two choices, THIS time, even though I played it fully through, finished every quest more than completely, I still ended up with the worst ending possible for almost everyone involved...I can't think of a worse ending than THAT, where was the debate, where were the damning questions, the irrefutable PROOF that won the choice??

Hi i am new here, and to be sincere i am not the kind of people who uses to play those games, i am actually a bit embarrassed but since i had give this particular game a try have been obsessed for months always trying to reach any different endings, and i find it a great game, especially because the "adventure" things rather than just sex. however i am here because i have some questions since some time ago, and altought i had read this tread before i am intrigued to know some things respecting the pixie, (as she is the character who you have the most interaction with) even if they may sound silly.
At the Harem ending the pixie is killed by the spell right?

also another thing, i know who i may be asking a lot but could you eventually pick the pixie when it is sleeping at the lake? could be fun. Also there would be a way to tell the Pixie when she begins to rub your "thumb" at night, something like. get the fuck out! or at the first time when she "asked" to get licked, to say "No" like in the other instances?

I found that when I changed ONE choice, I had a different path, when I confronted the Demon, I had a few choices during the conversation, going back and choosing something else allowed me to progress to the point that I remembered when I played this last before I installed my 2TB 980 pro.

THAT'S the LAST choice I remember having to make there are only 2 PATHS to go down in order to end this properly before I posted my other comment, I hadn't even thought about going through the last chapter again and doing things differently, like trusting or SAYING that I trusted that weasel.

NOW I played through one path making me very powerful, and I am going to go back to that last choice and finish this the proper way with the ending I should have had in the first place.

Yes more likely the second, as the pixie have big wings or maybe they are flexible enough? Some questions who while maybe are not important yet they catch the attention at the hundred time when you play the game.
