No worries, the game has been progressing quite a bit and that's in-between Flin doing art commissions (more than a few I wished showed it in the game hint hint Flin). But from what was said end of Jan, he's 70% done with events and about 90% done with visuals.

No seriously, a few things are based on your stats but the majority of it is letting RNGesus take the wheel.

I do NOT agree
If you click randomly you will have a much lower success rate than following the tips outlined in the tutorial. Just because there are a lot of dice rolls doesn't mean your choices are meaningless.

I still don't understand the gameplay i just press random things and hope for best lol.

Basic rule of thumb is this: start from the top, work towards the bottom. Repeat.
The "Study" and "Band" options are extremely valuable, especially when they have an asterisk. Study if you like Amy, Band if you like Kelly, and do both if you like Julie. But both stats help your standing with everyone.

Really, I just recommend following the tutorial, but sometimes re-writing the information in a different way can help, so here's a little guide I wrote:
