Thank you very much! Looks alright, although it isn't ideal gameplay for me.There are summon points, which you use to "buy" different troops during battles, the ones you unlock during game.Aswell you use those points to cast some magic. So you buy and send to other side to smash the gates. There's small cooldown for each different troops to summon/resummon.
There's also small events that u need to run from pursuers atleast in first game, not sure whats new yet in this one.

To be honest with you first game was bit challenging at some levels, even here pretty much the same
Some people might want to enjoy not get stuck on gameplay. Until save file will appear that's best bet to quickly unlock full gallery

the gallery can be unlocked straight away after installing the DLC. start a new game and select FAP mode

Like me! I like a challenge myself and if the game is as challenging as you say, I'll try the first game first, then this one.As I said, some people still like to play the game...
The first game needs an update though: It's version 1.2.1 on Steam.
