Am I the only one who finds the walkthroughs (which despite being listed 3 times are all basically the same) kinda useless? It tells me about all sorts of things I CAN do, but it never really explains what I SHOULD do

and after multiple playthrus of the entire series (1,2,3,1NG+,2NG+, & 3NG+) there actually is no way to do everything on a single playthru. the walkthrus are more of a guide.
It depends on which walkthrough you're using. I'd recommend the Wiki.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's not a very punishing game, and it's hard to lock yourself out of content. The main storyline is date driven, so you can't miss out on it, and the walkthrough details all the optional side-content you can explore when you have spare time. In general, places where you can opt out of sex is clearly marked; I don't do bullshit like "if you told her you like cucumbers instead of strawberries on day 1, she will refuse to go on a date with you on day 20".

Learn this. Know it. If you like to run stuff you DLd yourself on a mac you will run into this a lot.
will there be any remake or will your games be remade in new engine(renpy)?though i liked your games...
